As I have been running a fully synthetic and the nothelle is 260 bhp when properly dialled in and having now found and read the sticky im erring down the synta gold route. Anyone else running Gold? cheers Dan ps is an 06A115561B filter the same as a 056115561G?
JMC 0 Posted October 8, 2013 Mines about 250bhp at the flywheel and I'm still running synta silver (10w/40 semi synthetic).
sparks 0 Posted October 9, 2013 got 170bhp at the wheels and was recommend by oilman on here to run 10/50w semi the old engines dont like fully synthetic plus 50w will go to 140 degs C before breakdown of oil
JMC 0 Posted October 9, 2013 I have a mocal oil cooler on mine - temperature rarely gets above 110C.
Matt@OCD 0 Posted October 10, 2013 I agree with JMC, stick to 10w40 and use an oil cooler if you're having high temp problems.
