Shade 10 Posted February 25, 2014 Hello everyone, I've recently been looking around for Corrados near me and I've found one a couple hours away in Wichita, Kansas. I am a complete newb to corrados so I was wondering If I could get some of you guys' professional input on the car and what type of questions I need to be asking. The link below is the car, my apologies if this is in the wrong spot. Have a good one! Shade http://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/4344911341.html

Rorgasm 10 Posted February 26, 2014 Welcome:smug: With a Corrado G60 i would be check how regular the supercharger has been serviced. with out a descent service history they tend to self destruct & Getting hold of one is very hard these days & quite expensive. As above, use the search & you'll find a load of helpful advice people have already provided. Rory

STU175 0 Posted February 26, 2014 i would be wanting to know if it has damage to the roof as it looks like the bonnet has come open
Portent 0 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) That looks a lot of work but good luck. Check the charger as mentioned. When was the heater matrix changed? Common failure and a pain to fix. Does the spoiler go up and down automatically and on the switch? Does the roof open and close correctly? Common failure. Do all other electrics work OK? Any rust around the wheel arches or windscreen? Common fault. Evidence of cambelt change? Any rust around the battery compartment? Does the ignitian switch work correctly? Does the headlight switch work correctly and not get hot? Any evidence of wet carpets due to leak? Edited February 26, 2014 by Portent
Hofmiester 10 Posted February 27, 2014 Just to give you an idea, a corrado in that condition in the UK would not be worth more than $500-$800 USD so that seems expensive for what appears to be a wreak
