Wiper linkage arm (Longer linkage) 536-955-326

Hello there,

 

I'm looking at starting this group buy in mid to late April 2014,

for the longer wiper linkages for the RHD Corrado's.

The part number of which is 536-955-326 price is £20.60 per each,

 

Regarding postage cost I'll be sending the longer linkages out,

inside a cardboard tube which will be 2mm to 3mm thick complete with cap ends,

this way they should be kept safe and undamaged when in transit.

I'll post up full postage details once I've worked out postage costs with Royal Mail.

The cardboard tubes are only a few pence each,

so I'll post up like I say full postage options once I have all costs worked out.

 

Possibly will be 7 to 8 linkages in each batch,

might be able to push it to 10 but these do cost a little more than the smaller linkages.

 

Any of you guys and girls that need one I will be happy to sell at my cost price,

it will take about 2 to 4 weeks until I'll receive each ordered batch.

 

This will be on a first come first serv basis,

so far there's a small list started for the first batch,

in the post below.

 

The first batch I'm looking at ordering in mid April of 2014

I should still be able to order the small linkages,

if anyone still needs one.

I will only ask for full payment once the goods have been delivered to me,

and that it's the correct item, once I'm happy with the delivered goods,

UPDATE:

 

I'll be ordering the above next week on Monday 7th or Tuesday 8th of April 2014,

delivery of this 1st batch order will take about 2-1/2 to 4 weeks max to get to my door.

Price per each long wiper linkage is about £21.50 I'll post up the price once confirmed.

Carriage / postage:

 

I'm going to have to purchase some cardboard tubes,

these will work out at £0.56p each,

these tubes will be 625mm long X 1.5mm or 2mm thick X 50mm in diameter.

So I'll have to add the cost of the cardboard tubes to the postage cost,

which will be an extra £0.56p on top.

 

This will fall under the medium sized postal package according to Royal Mail,

the weight should be well under 1 KG

Royal Mail do 1st and 2nd class signed on delivery for this sized package,

and also do 1st and 2nd class standard delivery (Standard is unsigned)

 

A 450mm postal tube or under is classed as a small sized package,

but due to these longer linkages being 529mm long they'll have to be sent in the 625mm or 640mm long postal tubes,

which falls under the medium weight section.

1st class standard delivery £6.20 (Please note £0.56p has been added to this postage price)

These longer linkages weigh 138 grams each,

the postal tubes weigh 147 grams,

so complete cross weight for one linkage is 285 grams

 

Complete cross weight for two long linkages is 424 grams

 

And complete cross weight of one small & one long linkage sent together is 352 grams

 

 

NOTE !

 

I've spoken to royal mail / post office and they confirmed the postal tubes in question,

do fall under the medium weight section,

so the price options above are correct.

Just got to purchase the postal tubes now for a good low price,

I've added £0.64p to the postage prices above,

but should be able to purchase a batch for £0.45p or £0.55p per each tube.

Once I've found a good supplier and a spot on price I'll amend the postage prices.

I'VE MANAGED TO PURCHASE SOME POSTAL TUBES FOR £0.56p PER EACH

 

 

May / June 2014 prices

 

 

Any delivery address outside the UK Mainland please ask for quote.

 

To Ireland looks like it's £16.00 to £19.00 for 2nd class signed on delivery via Royal Mail / Parcel Force,

states delivery within 3 to 5 working days.

But please ask for quote and I'll see what I can do,

as I should be able to sort it for £10.00 maybe.

UPDATE: = PLACED THE ORDER TODAY TUESDAY 08/04/2014

 

I've managed to place the order today,

ordered 8 in total of the longer linkages,

7 are spoken for on this 1st batch,

and 1 will be left over as spare.

Plus I ordered another 2 of the smaller linkages just in case anyone needs any in the future,

I'll update the thread regarding the smaller linkages.

 

The longer wiper linkages I've been able to purchase them for a little less,

as I've bought a batch of them, they are £20.60 per each not £21.50,

I've amended the first page of this thread with the price above.

Delivery time to me is about 2-1/2 to 3 weeks,

I'll let you guys know once they're with me.
