p0l1wrath 10 Posted May 15, 2014 whilst refitting my manifold i put the carbon canister to butterfly valve hose under the rocker cover breather pipe and it was rested on my manifold and has now melted, I'm highly worries as i believe that may carry fuel vapour?can i just remove the hose at the carbon canister? i seem to remember they aren't nessacery? seanl82 23 Posted May 15, 2014 Yeah just terminate the outlet on the inlet manifold, or you end up with oil mist everywhere.
p0l1wrath 10 Posted May 15, 2014 Oil mist? But there's no oil in them, I thought it was fuel vapour? Basically I want to stop the fuel vapour getting to the hot exhaust manifold, if my thinking is correct?
