Sump paint ?

Recommended Posts

The POR15 stuff is the toughest paint I've used.

Out of all the different stuff I've used it's the one that's lasted best. Just don't use it on bodywork imo. Really hard to wet sand before paint.

If you can put it back on until everything goes for powder coating Rob, I'd do the sump too. It won't cost much more than a tin of hammerite anyway.

Thanks for the comments , I may well have to leave the powder coating of the sump . I did this job first as I wanted to start at the front and work my way back . I can't move the car until it's back on .

Hammerite smooth mate, cant go wrong with Hammerite and you can paint it straight onto rust.

Rog.

It's oil based though so no good for engines / sumps really...
