Wayne2015 10 Posted February 9, 2015 Ref the leak, check the drains are working from the sunroof, the tubes could be blocked. Pour a little water in to the sunroof tray with the roof open to check it drains properly. The tubes can get blocked and the seal is just a weather seal, not mean to be fully waterproof. Cheers Andy But my sunroof dont work - so how do i check? :( Did ask seller at the time to show me how to open and how he closed it using an allen key/screwdriver (coz he said it only tilts on one side), but he said he rather not :(

Wayne2015 10 Posted February 11, 2015 How do i know it has an immobiliser (and working)?
seanl82 23 Posted February 11, 2015 You have the later style sunroof controls is is. Press up for up, pull back for back. If you have an immobiliser, you should have a little red bit on your key where it faces into the ignition. You also have the tilt bit on your seat missing. I may have one of those too but will have to check.

Wayne2015 10 Posted February 11, 2015 My 1994 year car to me is quite new (compared with the late 80s and early 90s car s i had) But i always drive with hand on gear stick! Ok, we supposed to have 2 hands on wheel to be safe. But does it really damage the gear??? Ok I always start with in gear. But isnt it SAFER to start with clutch up? And read a lot about HOW LONG TO WAIT before driving off... So its true then - do NOT warm engine stationary!
Chuggs1 10 Posted February 11, 2015 And read a lot about HOW LONG TO WAIT before driving off... So its true then - do NOT warm engine stationary! Easier said than done in this country in January and February!! 10 min wait for car to defrost - although I do let oil get to around 60-70 before I give it some revs
Chuggs1 10 Posted February 11, 2015 Although once I get my garage finished she will be indoors so frost wont be a problem
