Grrrrallye 0 Posted June 10, 2015 Hi all, I have a 6 branch manifold that is US made. It has a stabbing on one of the branches for a sensor of some kind I assume. I don't need this port and so i'm looking to block it off but have no idea what size thread it might be. Any ideas anyone? I thought it may have been M14, but the pitch is wrong. Image for reference: Thanks
Jim Bowen 1 Posted June 10, 2015 You can get a little gadget to measure the pitch, i usually work out the pitch and then the diameter afterwards (sometimes by trial and error) Could be a 1.5 or 1.75 pitch, hard to tell from a photo
gozodog 10 Posted June 10, 2015 If it's built in US it's probably an imperial thread. Any US machines we've got at work are all imperial.
