Henny 0 Posted June 22, 2004 yup, somewhere between 15 and 18 LbFt is the norm according to Bentley... I went for a nice straight 15 and it's fine... 8)

Rpmayne 0 Posted June 23, 2004 Any ideas where the knock sensor is on a VR? Is that the one which changes the timing if the engine starts pinking or knocking?
scruffydubbers 0 Posted June 23, 2004 yep thats the one, not sure where it is on a vr tho
dr_mat 0 Posted June 23, 2004 There's two on a VR. One on the front and one on the back of the block. I couldn't tell you exactly, but there's no likely to be any other bits with wires coming from them at that point..
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted June 23, 2004 Follow the wire from the thinner of the two plugs on the rear engine mount to get the rear KS and at the front, follow the wire from the lower of the two plugs, also mounted on the front engine mount bracket.
