Fine wine, Belgian chocs. 1 Posted June 25, 2015 (edited) Evening all, I've got the engine and gearbox out at the moment and took the opportunity to give the gearbox a blast with the powerwasher. When I'd finished I found this on the ground: It looks like a 3 inch long earth strap but I've no idea where it came from. Any ideas? Jim Bowen 1 Posted June 25, 2015 Starter motor solenoid maybe?
Fine wine, Belgian chocs. 1 Posted June 25, 2015 Thanks chaps. Starter solenoid earth is still attached to the starter but the distributor is a good point. I suppose it could've been stuck in the crud on the gearbox for years.
