Mrbaldhead 10 Posted January 21, 2016 My VR6 is on Gaz coil-overs and has been lowered but not by much. On full lock the bottom ball joints rub on the inside of the alloy wheels..... It seems the previous owner has flipped the anti-roll bars upside down to attempt to combat this issue but it is still awful getting round tight turns or small hill turns on full lock! Lots of grinding. If I removed the anti-roll bar (Front) would it effect handling/ body roll?? Has anyone else had similar issues or got rid of the roll bar all together? Advice please..... VAG-hag 0 Posted January 21, 2016 If your arb is flipped then I'd flip it back buddy. That doesn't look right
seanl82 23 Posted January 21, 2016 Yeah I'd put it the right way, no idea why it would be flipped down but I'd imagine it's more likely to rub that way. I wouldn't remove it altogether either, theres a reason almost every production car has one.
Jim Bowen 1 Posted January 21, 2016 Probably fitted it wrong by accident. Quite easy to do.
Mrbaldhead 10 Posted January 23, 2016 How easy is this to flip around..... Time and effort wise??
seanl82 23 Posted January 23, 2016 If it's the wrong way round it's not a 5 minute job. Rear subframe needs to be dropped down a bit to get it out and flip it. The ARB should just push up though if it's just the drop links the wrong way. They're meant to hang down to the hub rather than point up.
