Anyone else having this problem? Anti roll bar issues.....

Recommended Posts

My VR6 is on Gaz coil-overs and has been lowered but not by much. On full lock the bottom ball joints rub on the inside of the alloy wheels..... It seems the previous owner has flipped the anti-roll bars upside down to attempt to combat this issue but it is still awful getting round tight turns or small hill turns on full lock! Lots of grinding.

If I removed the anti-roll bar (Front) would it effect handling/ body roll??

Has anyone else had similar issues or got rid of the roll bar all together?

Advice please.....

Yeah I'd put it the right way, no idea why it would be flipped down but I'd imagine it's more likely to rub that way. I wouldn't remove it altogether either, theres a reason almost every production car has one.

If it's the wrong way round it's not a 5 minute job. Rear subframe needs to be dropped down a bit to get it out and flip it. The ARB should just push up though if it's just the drop links the wrong way. They're meant to hang down to the hub rather than point up.
