reggiebaby 10 Posted September 6, 2016 Hi all trying to replace both handbrake cables does any body know how the handbrake lever surround comes off looks like I need to remove this to get the console out, asking before I brake something. robrado974 1 Posted September 6, 2016 I'm sure it slides forwards towards the gear stick ? , now I feel stupid !, I only fitted a new one three months ago . seanl82 23 Posted September 6, 2016 Yep, slide handbrake handle forward - there may be a retaining tab on the bottom at the back of hte handle. The cover then slides forward over the mechanism too mate. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
