Rocket Ron 1 Posted December 21, 2016 Winter job. I have a 94 VR and there are 2 types (price difference) given when I type in my Reg No into Euro Car parts one look like paper and the other one looks rubber does anyone know which one is correct for mine. seanl82 23 Posted December 21, 2016 Have a look what is on there at the moment Ron, but generally the later cars had rubber with earlier cars having the fibre gaskets. The rubber type use longer bolts so you don't want to get it wrong unless you want to buy new bolts too.
GlosterOx 0 Posted December 21, 2016 Ideal opportunity to change them over to Stainless whichever one you get, as they are cheap as chips these days. Ian.

Rocket Ron 1 Posted January 8, 2017 Have tried GSF they only had one come up when I put in my Reg No M Reg 94 so ordered. Wrong one arrived and it was paper should have been rubber also broken had to get a refund. Where is the best place to get one and to guarantee the right one arriving. It's not a Scirocco 10 Posted January 8, 2017 Have both on order as I'm not sure which I'll need yet. Do I need to use any sealant paste type stuff also? Thanks Chris
seanl82 23 Posted January 8, 2017 It's recommended for the fibre gasket but shouldn't be used for the rubber one.
