Brunty's Dad 10 Posted October 24, 2016 Now that my ABS and starting problems have been sorted I have fallen in love with my VR6 again and decided to keep it. The front seats are looking very tired and I look enviously at my son's Ford leathers (Escort RS I think). To help my search can someone please let me know any known cars, VAG or otherwise which have compatible leather seats - I have started the list from the Forum with Audi TT. fla 9 Posted October 24, 2016 Id be interested in suggestions too. I know the tt ones need some bars to be welded on to them but apparently they're hugely comfortable. Also porsche tombstones but not sure how much work is needed to get them to fit.
stuarttaylor37 13 Posted October 24, 2016 I bought one with TT seats fitted, they were very comfortable but sit too high, I'm 6 foot 1 and my head was touching the headliner
odub 0 Posted October 25, 2016 How about some Recaro Pole Positions like the TT QS? Bit of a price tag but worth it

Brunty's Dad 10 Posted October 25, 2016 Looking on ebay and leather repair kits kept coming up. Anyone tried them?
seanl82 23 Posted October 26, 2016 A few of us on here have done it, either with a Furniture Clinic kit, or a Gliptone kit iirc. I used the FC kit, and its really quite good. Just send something off for them to colour match (I used a headrest) and it comes back within a couple of days. Really easy to use, but I'd recommend getting a couple of extra compressed air cans as thats the only thing I thought more of them could have been included. There are video tutorials on their website and the instructions are good enough. End results can be seen somewhere in my members gallery, I'll try to link it in later!
