[email protected] 10 Posted February 18, 2017 Hi there. Trying to work out in laymens terms how much raid tax I will have to pay after April 1st, for a '94 VR6 Corrado. It's based on your cars emissions. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
delfinis38 1 Posted February 18, 2017 I'm with you on this. Not sure if it's just for new cars registered. I know all cars will be 140 pounds. Unless you buy a new car over 40k and you get taxed big time initially... my mates having his car delivered end of march for this reason as the tax would be nearly 1k. SR_Neale 10 Posted February 18, 2017 I'm sure there have been a few threads on here and it will apply to cars registered after a certain date. While on the subject off being ripped off it's going to cost cars over 10 years old (registered before 06)an extra £10 a day on top of congestion charge to drive in London. Also after 2020 no diesel engine vehicals will be allowed in London.
Erallus 10 Posted February 18, 2017 I believe it's for cars registered past a certain date. Don't think tax situation for our cars will change .
mic_VR 3 Posted February 18, 2017 Only for vehicles registered from 1st April 2017. Ours won't change.
[email protected] 10 Posted February 18, 2017 Thanks guys. Big help. As for London, they're gonna be ****ed for deliveries and buses. Absolute nonsense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dogma 10 Posted February 18, 2017 At the end of the day the Government are greedy so and so, so no our cars will not be effected by the new rules, but you know they are going increase the tax by £5 or £10 extra every year.
SR_Neale 10 Posted February 18, 2017 It looks like they are trying to recoup all the money they lost when they made low emission cars free or low tax bracket.

SR_Neale 10 Posted February 18, 2017 I assume quite alot of the boats in the river are diesel too. Will the new emission regs extend to them as well?
