Changing Spark Plugs - Hot Or Cold?

Quick one gents - just gonna change my plugs and is it best to do it with the car hot or cold?

If your just doing plugs I'd say cold otherwise your going to be burning yourself on the manifold.

I'll say hot, alloy expands greater with heat than steel. In practice the won't make much difference.

I always do the oil as well so engine is usually hot when I do it. But thought it wouldn't make any difference if just plugs

Think the theory is there's less chance of pulling the thread if the engines warm Jon. I think I'll just wait til I'm doing the oil and do them at the same time.
