I don't want to spend too much but do want one that will do a half decent job and with so many to choose from just don't know which to choose. Geeba 0 Posted June 21, 2017 Definitely go for a MIG welder... oxy acetylene is to hot and you'll get panel distortion (take it you're welding the car?), Arc is hard work and unless you're good its difficult to not make it look like a pigeon hasn't dumped all over your work...
