fla 9 Posted June 24, 2017 I fitted a new starter last year aeound november. Itvused to turn the engine over very quickly indeed but now seems to jave slowed down a bit. Is this normal? Sounded like a little turbine in the beginning!
1200 bandit 10 Posted June 24, 2017 Check your battery voltage, earths conditions if all good. Put a meater on your battery and see what the voltage reading is when you crank the engine it should not drop below 11. Volts

dr_mat 0 Posted June 24, 2017 11.8 volts is nearly flat. Give it a charge. A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.
fla 9 Posted June 24, 2017 Checked it earlier it was 12.3volts. But put it on charge anyway so I'll see again in a few hours
dr_mat 0 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Ok. If it was down at 11.8 and that was the resting voltage, with literally nothing turned on, and it's recovered to 12.3 with nothing happened in between then I'd be a bit worried for the state of the battery. Definitely put it on charge. Consider getting one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371876076928 A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.
