Leather interior needs help

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to repair my interior. The usual bolster wear on the driver's seat is the main issue but also the rear headrests stitching is annoying me and the seats could all do with a colour refresh too. I think they're navy blue rather than black but it is hard to tell!475ec8cee9ae47a2888e68efba9f5cb4.jpgd48c35ceb8ca70c9c36fbca9b78e0a09.jpg3ce84bb5844ff9422e113b59ff5b3aa0.jpg05ace97c870b0460462df23f1050f3b0.jpg

hi graham

a local interior specialist for the re-stitching & gash repair i would say

as for the cracks & colour etc, take a look at Glyptone (liquid leather) https://www.liquidleather.com/?gclid=CNuX5OLE7dUCFcO4GwodTOYHfQ

they do the cleaner, conditioner & dye

i did a review on my build thread of a steering wheel refurb & it came out superb.... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44751-g0ldf1ng3r-s-VR6-amp-1-8-16V/page17&highlight=g0ldf1ng3r

i will be doing my seats in the coming weeks when i take them out to do the matrix

if you have drivers side bolster sag, like many, drop lilfuzzer a PM & he will put you in a queue for some good replacements

he saved some for me upon request & they are sat ready to be installed when i do the seats

I can't see your pictures in the thread for some reason but I'm guessing they were good going by the comments people left.

I haven't seen that product before, if you do go on their technicians course perhaps you could cascade your knowledge gained at the next national day by running a class?

I'd volunteer to let you use my seats as an example for the class!

ha ha ive never run a class - could prove interesting lol

the directions on the products are pretty good but i also have a guide saved somewhere

odd that the pics dont show, they are ok on my pc & were put on the thread as an attachment so not sure why not displaying

IIRC it was Tim from the tv program 5th gear that recommended gliptone to me - he saw my VR when i was at my sisters & was pouring all over it & we discussed his porsche restoration
