Is this statement that, being a 6 to 2 to 1, it improves low end torque correct? thanks
Geeba 0 Posted March 18, 2018 I could never find any proven results with tubular manifolds... they seem to be prone to cracking, and dont hold heat that well. I got the dremel out and polished my cast ones... tig welded the downpipe and smoothed off the internal welds ;) that will probably do for me.
fla 9 Posted March 18, 2018 Thanks for that. Did you notice any difference on yours?

swiftkid 1 Posted March 18, 2018 I think most of the 6 branch manifolds are 6-2-1. Personally I didn't notice any difference in performance, it just made my exhaust drone more and not sure if it was related as I did obd2 at same time but I got higher engine temps which was a pain. fla 9 Posted March 19, 2018 Unfortunately my car is still in a million bits :( Yes but it will be stunning when its done! I think most of the 6 branch manifolds are 6-2-1. Personally I didn't notice any difference in performance, it just made my exhaust drone more and not sure if it was related as I did obd2 at same time but I got higher engine temps which was a pain. Ok thanks Dave. I think i'll just give mine a clean and slight polish internally and spray with some high temp paint.
