John Blount 11 Posted March 30, 2018 Hi everyone... I’m refurbishing the leather interior and need to take the rear seats out, the base is no problem but how do you remove the “backs” ? I’ve unbolted them from behind the seat belt anchors but how are they removed from where they pivot in the door cards? seanl82 23 Posted March 30, 2018 IIRC you pull them up. They are on a hook and pin like the door catch mate.
robrado974 1 Posted March 30, 2018 Yep , as Sean said Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
1xshaunx1 27 Posted March 30, 2018 2 plastic pins to pull up, near the rear cards as Sean said. Pull one up and push the seat back, forward and it will flop down.
John Blount 11 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) Thanks guys, just wanted to check I’m understanding, I know you have to pull the pins on the top of the seats to un-lock them to get them to fold flat but i need to remove the two parts from the car completely? seanl82 23 Posted March 30, 2018 Yeah there are pins on the seat at the bottom (door card side) too. once they're released at the top, you should be able to pull the seat up to release the hook at the bottom.
