I have never removed this part, I tried at the weekend as it would have been easier to snap the metal clasp on the dizzy cap back on . But not only did I not have a star bit big enough the bolts look knackered, I don’t think they will come out. So the plan is to cut the plastic so I can get to the head of the bolts. If you don't get any joy with a good secondhand one, like I say they are in stock in Germany.
