So at Heritage we decided to add a range of fire extinguishers and products to try and help our fellow enthusiasts from stopping this happening. Here are some links. VR6 South 0 Posted May 14, 2019 Fires in Corrados are thankfully rare. I do remember one of the Campaigns having a fire in the dash. Have you posted on the Vauxhall Zafira forum?

swiftkid 1 Posted May 15, 2019 You say that they are rare but I've seen quite a few photo's of them going up in flames. The headlight switch is a bad culprit for it and a few other electrical gremlins. I always carry an extinguisher with me There was someone making a bracket to fix an extinguisher at the front underside of the passenger seat a while ago, think a few people might be interested
Keyo 47 Posted May 15, 2019 I have an extinguisher and it fits just right inside the glove box with my 10 mm spanner to isolate the battery if required, the thing is I bet some of these fires are caused by shoddy workmanship .
annavr6 10 Posted May 15, 2019 for me its just a cheap essential to keep in the car, just in case and for piece of mind. Worst fire i saw recently was a camper that took an entire petrol station out https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-48175899
