Stone0311 0 Posted November 12, 2019 Hi, looking for a driveshaft heatshield for a KR/PG engine - it's the one mounted low down on the back of the block to protect the inner cv joints from the manifold Thanks
Simeon 0 Posted November 12, 2019 Pretty sure the 3 location bolts are in the same place on all 4 cylinder blocks of the era mate. I definitely have a couple in my lock up, but not sure when I'll next be up there, will check back here to see if you still need one next time I'm up there. vw rule 19 Posted November 13, 2019 I've had a look on VW ETKA and VW Classic Parts, looks like there's two slightly different part numbers. For MK3 Golf / Corrado / Passat 1988 onwards Part number 357 407 721A Length = 155mm Width = 140mm Height = 115mm Bolt holes are at a 45° angle ************************ For MK3 Golf / Corrado / Passat 1989 onwards Part number 357 407 721B Length = 145mm Width = 140mm Height = 140mm Bolt holes are level parallel I think most of the 4 cyl Corrado's use 357 407 721B Hope this helps Si
