Cylinder head

Recommended Posts

Hi I have noticed there is a small crack in my cylinder head and I want to replace it. Only thing is I’ve noticed my engine in my Corrado is a AAA code which if I’m right is a Golf VR6 engine. Would a Corrado VR6 cylinder head mate on top of this ok? Can anyone advise me regards.

Pretty sure you can, maybe a phone call to stealth racing to confirm. However you should be able to pick a AAA head easier and cheaper. It may also be running with the obd2 wiring, inlet manifold and throttle body.

I take it there would be no performance gain from getting a Corrado cylinder head then?

Heads are exactly the same. Only difference is bore size (obviously), inlet manifold, and throttle body if OBD2 from a MK3. The performance gains are mostly in the inlet manifold and management.
