CorradoLV 0 Posted July 19, 2020 Okey so today i noticed that if i push my headlight switch and turn on my headlights it also turns on abs pump and auxiliary water pump. I messed with the wiring harnesses in the engine bay a few days ago( cleaned connectors and removed the old tape that was already falling off and used a new one on them). Its a 1993 vr6 corrado. Any pointers of what i might have done wrong?
Cressa 44 Posted July 20, 2020 Can you find and post up the electrical diagram for the headlight switch. It may help to work out what else is on this circuit
1xshaunx1 27 Posted July 20, 2020 I’d pull the switch out and check the wiring going to the fuse box from the switch. It may be it’s wiring might be damaged and arcing onto others.
CorradoLV 0 Posted July 23, 2020 It was the headlight switch itself to be blamed. I plugged in my new oem headlight switch and everything was back to normal. No abs and aux water pump turned on. But now the abs light is on theres barely any brake fluid coming out from the rear brakes. I can hear the pump running with the ignition on but once i hit the pedal no fluid comes out. The regulator at the rear is left open so it allows the fluid to pass through. I installed new braided brakes lines and new tubing all around and before i did that everything was working fine.
