yes, I now have black leather with a grey carpet, dash and A, B and C pillar trims...

no, mine are not heated so didn't need any wiring...

Fitting was easy, take the old ones out, put the new ones in... ;)

No, the OEM loom doesn't contain the wiring for the electrics in the seats, you need to get that with any seats you get...

Wiring loom for heated seats should include switches, connectors for switches and a pair of relays with a multiplug for each seat and a multiplug which goes onto the back of the fuse box... if it's not got this with the seats (and they're supposed to be heated) then the loom is available new from VAG, but it's gonna hurt and you ain't gonna be able to sit on your new seats for a little while until you've healed up! ;) :?

I've swapped my cloth seats for leather,No it has its only loom. If you can grab the wiring loom from the car the heated seats were from it will make your life easier/ My mate's looked at my loom and says it dont look that hard to make one, rather him them me though.

The loom has the relay within it and you will need the dashboard switch as well. Its very straightforward, just a bit of a job if u are gonna fit as vw did.

I havent fitted mine yet, mainly due to the hot weather and no need for more heat to come from the seats, Heatedness will be in by the end of the summer, guarenteed :)
