Supercharged 2 Posted August 24, 2004 Don't buy the boost hose kit from them tho, the 2 intercooler ones I got with mine did not fit at all - maybe their mould was based on an earlier G60 tho...

RSR outlet will be coming from Darren (G-Werks) & I'm looking into having some Golf G60 intercoolers made by one of our (GS&F) suppliers 8)
whiteee 0 Posted August 24, 2004 Yes - to a KR engine. I understand that the 1800 16v are essentially the same engine jus wasnt sure of the postion of ancilaries (header tank - rad - etc) so didnt kno if the hoses fitted... Has anyone done this for sure? or are the part codes for a normal set of VAG hoses for 1800 16v corrado and golf the same? sorry if it seems like im asking the same question... jus want to make sure before i part with my money! anyone found them cheaper than £137??? MoonlightVR 0 Posted August 24, 2004 I can get a healthy discount on Samcos (-30%) as I sorted a GB last year. Let me know if you're interested. Asim

Ones that do fit are: top and bottom rad hoses short hose from pump to water pipe 3 outlet hose to pump and oil cooler curly one from cooler to pipe David. boab 0 Posted August 25, 2004 i would have a set for 1800 16v definately!
MoonlightVR 0 Posted August 26, 2004 Right, The Samco kit foir a Mk2 Golf 16V retails at £136. I can get them for £96 :D Carriage is £7.95. Just bear in mind that this kit is for the Golf and not the Corrado. If you are desperate for a Corrado 16V specific kit it might be worth someone sending a complete OE hose set to Samco so that they can make up the correct template.
