M777CUSGTI 0 Posted September 23, 2004 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... Track=true i cant make up my mind??? help guys  your thoughts on this C please
bcstudent 0 Posted September 23, 2004 Well, it's definitely worth the £700 it's at as I write this, but what's it worth to you? It seems genuine enough but you'd really need to see it to know for sure. I thought you were after a G60! I reckon this would make a decent enough entry-level Corrado. There's nothing wrong with the 16v KR engined Corrado and Iove mine to bits but it's not a G60 anyway you look at it. Your choice my man as you're the one paying for the car and the one living with it afterwards.
M777CUSGTI 0 Posted September 24, 2004 bah, thats the problem initially. i really do want a G60 i guess, so if i brought this id prob get rid of it in a few months to buy a G60 anyways :| ill hold on and save for a G i think  apparantly the 1.816v C is slower then the mk2 golf 16v? that wouldnt be desirable really
dr_mat 0 Posted September 24, 2004 Well yeah, it's the same engine pulling an extra 200kg...
dazzyvr6 0 Posted September 24, 2004 you could buy it,clean it up a bit and sell it on with a bit of profit towards buying a g60
vwdubs 0 Posted September 24, 2004 I have alreday looked at this and considered it as another Raddo to the collection, definately a good buy but cant see it staying at that price and expect it to hit 900 easily.
aide 0 Posted September 24, 2004 apparantly the 1.816v C is slower then the mk2 golf 16v? slower off the line than a G as a result of different gearing and weight, but the 16v C's gearing is for top end speed - it's a coupe not a htchback after all! besides a golf is no match in the twisties when running standard suspension.... i'd buy a 1.8, get used to the handling and drive, look after it so you maintain its residual and then get a g60 once you've had a good loook round and saved some cash :D
KADVR6 0 Posted September 24, 2004 i see this corrado often. the guy passes my house 2 go 2 work, its allways clean, and sounds fine when i see it, i think it is worth about £1500, :?: :?:

G60Dan 0 Posted September 24, 2004 might be better off finding a good valver for that money mate. It'll probably be in better condition than a g60 for the same money.
