  1. The bush is the one at the top of the rear shocks. I dont know wot its proper name is sorry.
  2. Dark (blue?) VR in center of Dunstable, A5/A505 junction. I was coming round from the Luton direction onto A5 south.
  3. Firstly, it looks like the rear bush at teh top of the shocks is going on at least one side. How much is it to replace, or is it just as easy to replace the whole rear shock? If so how much am I looking at there? Secondly, my passenger exterior door handle has stopped working. When we had a look, a small peice of metal/plastic had snapped off. Wots the best way to sort that out? Cheers in advance :wink:
  4. Is there a list anywhere of all the aftermarket rear lights for the C? Ive seen the m3 style and the all chrome ones, but i fink i remember seeing some that were all black, and maybe some others. Wheres the best place to get em from? (read "cheapest" :wink: ) Ive done a search on here but cant find anything with the right sort of info.
  5. u can use the MFA to tell you wot the boost is. Use the G60 Boost pressure check on that guide. ;)
  6. yeah, i see your point, i just wondered if the bhp gain between an S4 and an R1 is worth the £100? I mean, if for example when the other bits were on as well as an S4 and it gave (for arguments sake) 40bhp over standard, and an R1 gave 50bhp, is that extra 10 really worth £100? Where as if it gave 60+bhp then 20+bhp over an S4 would deffo be worth the £100. Am i explaining that right? Im sure you get wot i mean.

  8. thnx guys, sorry for confusion over car! Just thats the nickname shes got already!! hehe She is well tidy, inside is perfect, outside only things wrong are Wheels need a refurb and rear black number plate holder one clip has broke. Couple of small dings on passenger door, that someone has tried to repair(poorly). But other than that shes a beut ;) :D
  9. Without the other bits n bobs (pully chip red tops etc) how much power gain would an R1 give the g60?
  10. Ive found with preivious cars that the Toyo Proxes T1-S are absolutly awsome, and no other tyre ive had has come close, especially for the price of em!
  11. Heres some piccies of my new '91 G60, in Aqua Blue. Needs to have the wheels refurbed but other than that the outside is almost mint, and the inside is mint!
  12. Oh yes. I am the happiest man on the planet at the moment. I went to see that G60 near Donnington last night, and shes a beut! Went thru that Corrado check list on here (which i may add is a fantastic tool for anyone looking at a C) and she didnt seem to have much wrong with her. A couple of little niggles, but nothing worth worrying over. And the best part........she was only £2000!!!!! I cant believe it! Ive seen a few G60s in past few days (well 2 to be exact..) and this one was by far the best, yet over £500 cheaper! :shock: I think ive managed to steal a bargain here.......i hope........I'll get some piccies of her up later today.

  16. dr_mat, apology accepted, and i would like to apologise if i over reacted. Ive had a look thru and realise that this has gotta be the most common question ever asked in the universe.....ever...... :oops: Anyway, ive seen a G60 near me, 124k on the clock, charger rebuilt 1k ago, 12 months MOT met.black and nowt seems to be wrong with it, for £2500. Does this sound ok? or is 124k a lot for one of these engines? I know that with the Fraud Zetec it made no difference as they last forever, but is the 8v up to going on and on, so long as its looked after? cheers
  17. VR6, maybe so, but thats still no reason to be rude to me. As far as i was concerned it was a perfectly valid question.
  18. thnx henny, i gotta admit that Im not really looking for a vr6 as they seem way to expensive to run for what they are. My fav does seem to be the G60, and charger rebuild aint a problem as I'll have plenty left over to get that sorted. They seem to be the easiest to tune, for reasonable amounts of cash.
  19. i was only after some advice. I thought that was what this forum was for? Having not driven any i wouldnt know would i? I apprecitate that its all about personal taste, but i dont know what the difference is between drivng a vr and a valver is, so was looking for someone to give me some idea. Your comments are way out of order dude. just after some help. Crazymarcel, VR6, thnx thats the type of comments i was hopeing for.

  21. OK, Ive FINALLY sold my Fraud Mundao and Im deffo getting me a Corrado. Question is, what should I get. Im gonna have about £3000 to spend buying one, so which shall it be? Bearing in mind that there are more and more VR6's on autotrader for under 3g's, is that sound worth getting? Or should I go for a G60 toy, and spruce up the charger for a VR6 killer? Or perhaps a cheapo valver and kick the krap out of the engine to have a beast :evil: ? I dunno guys, you are the C experts, so let me know which u rekon...... :D
  22. That is quite possibly the tidiest, nicest looking rado I have ever seen :shock: Top job m8, its obvious that a lot of work has gone in. That TT dash is looks amazing........ :shock:

    as standard it should be about 11.6 psi which is about 0.8 bar iirc
