1. I have a Kyosho MP7.5 Kanai 2 in my garage gathering dust. I really should resurrect it or flog it. Dude VR6 - Otley model sport is a fine shop but seem to specialise in 10th scale. Their local to me and I've used them for years (from when they traded from a newsagents).
2. My valver with working everything, a very good leather interior and an engine with about 50K on it since rebuild(possibly 60K but I'd have to work it out) and doubt I'd pull £2700 for it.....but if anyone is offering :)
3. Good to hear you're enjoying the results.
4. Late set of clocks - mileage? red needles? MFA hose on back? Cost?
5. E30 arms and fitted with bosch aerotwin flat blades. Arms cost me £18 (ebay) and the blades £25(Halfords trade) = great cheap upgrade
6. Now fitted with 22" blades.
7. Welcome fellow valver owner. Your last picture sums up how well the red "pops" when it's had a wash.
8. Thanks so much for this. Fitted them at the weekend and 100% improvement on the originals. Currently got the 20" blades on but will grab some 22" soon for even more vision.
9. My understanding is you need the clocks with the hose fitting as newer clocks work out the MPG from the ECU. I'm not sure if your red needle dials could be unplugged internally and fitted inside your old clocks. Older clocks definitely can be unplugged. Sitting on the fence to see if any fix can be done.
10. Watched this on Saturday morning and its tip top viewing......I'm opting for the P1.
11. Also make sure the belt is tight and isn't slipping. I bought a meyle regulator for mine and it cost about a tenner but didn't fix the problem despite the bushes on the original being clearly worn.
12. I'm pretty sure my valver had a 65A fitted and the replacement was 70A, which works fine.
13. I had issues with my alternator last winter which caused the car to run out of electricity and stop. Tried a regulator first but didn't fix things. Then bought an ebay refurbished/exchange unit which initially showed 13.5v but over a month of use started showing 12.5v. Contacted the seller who sent me a replacement, next day which has been on the car since.
14. Just bought a set of Ebay for £18 - well worth a punt.
15. I always fancied an E30 M but having seen how much they go for, the wiper arms are probably all I can afford. I might give this a go as Audi arms are about £130 all in.
16. Thanks for that, I knew I'd seen it somewhere but search didn't work for me this morning (probably due to work computer).
17. Bodywork was done by garage. I did lots of mechanical bits to make it drive better.
18. As winter is upon us I thought I might upgrade my wiper arms so I can see where I'm going. My current arms are fitted with flat blades that work fine up to about 70mph then get a bit of lift. I understand Lupo GTI arms fit and heard TT arms might too. So what fits/works and would I need new blades or do the original blade? PS, anyone got a set?
19. Some pictures of my old B Before After Alternative spare wheel
20. Welcome to the fold. I too had an MGB GT (1972) previously but it would have turned to red dust if I'd used it as a daily like my Corrado.
21. I've got chills, there multiplying........sorry for that, you just need grease. I used this stuff on mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Liqui-Moly-Silicone-Grease-100g-Tube-3312-Silicon-Fett-transparent-/231596928452?hash=item35ec40adc4:g:nKUAAOSwh6xTu896
22. Interested to hear what you think of it on a 1.8. Hopefully the drop in torque won't be a problem (it wasn't for me on the 2.0)
23. They were the same on my 2.0 when I swapped from 42mm to 50mm.
