Im using 0W-40 fully and had no problems, oil temp sits at 85C normal and 95C when the right foot is planted on those country roads..

Right, does any one have any idea on how much work is required to add a Turbo to a VR6 2.9L Corrado? I know this sounds ridiculous but how much is a good conversion going to set me back and how much is there that can go wrong..... ie engine going pop etc..... A sensible conversion that will add 100bhp? Thanks

Thanks :) the rear lights are all LED, looks like a space ship at night. Plans well..... Bodywork going in next week to repair stone chips and rear arch scrape and rust on both sills and rear window. Already spent £682 on repair bills for simple things like wheel bearings, cv boots and various other little bits to get it all right. Full wheel refer be to come next month and then getting all the leather interiour replenished by a car leather company. More to come but my bank needs to gasp for air before any more. It's had a new clutch, alternator, chains and engine skimmed on the head, new sump, new gearbox, 2nd hand pristine stock exhaust from Germany, battery, HT leads and plugs, service 600 miles ago and it is on Gaz race suspension. More that has been done by previous owner as he owned it for 11 years. It's a super car that as of yet is all I expected and more!

How much for posted? And are the rubber surrounds on the rear speakers in good nick?

Owned this car for near 2 months now and just loving it! Nearly every drive I get someone saying nice car or what car is that :) Everything I expected and more! Coooreee that noise as well whilst being surrounded in black leather. Super car :)

Are the speakers still avaliable?

Hello everyone, Right I have been messing about for a few years deciding if a VR6 is for me or not..... I have come to the decision that I need one basically. I have seen a few but nothing really stood out, the ones I want always sell to quick. I will be buying one around MAY time and just curious about what people think. 1) What are the VR6's actually like to drive? (Obviously excluding the heavenly noise they make when the loud peddle is pressed). 2) If I find a well looked after model, how reliable are these cars? (Yes they are 20 years old so won't be spotless). 3) Mileage, people say 30MPG on the motorway, what about real figures in terms of everyday use? 5) This will be my everyday car, does this work? 4) I think these are 100% the best looking VW's around, what do you think? ps. If someone is local to High Wycombe, anyone fancy giving me a spin in a VR6 you will make my week! Ian

Looking for a well looked after corrado..... I think i have just hit it head on!! Trouble is that I live in Basingstoke :(
