  2. Si Let's go the whole hog... stick me in for this longer one too. Happy to wait and for you to post both together.
  3. Hi Si, PM me pls. I'll take one (3rd batch). Think the original, after 6974 days must be past it's best lol Appreciate the effort.
  4. Glad to see I'm not the only one. It's a no brainer and give them some occasional love with a wipe of autoglym vinyl & rubber care ;)
  5. Sorry for delay... need to check in more often! Payment made... cheers for organising Hasan Dom

  10. You not fancy an R8 one then Bill?
  11. After nearly 16 years of faithful service mine (clip) snapped too last week :( Obviously didn't like this cold snap... err no pun intended! :) Whilst making sure myself that there are definitely no clips 535 823 567 collecting dust at any dealers or VW noticed gruvenparts have help at hand... but at a price, about the same as a new cable. http://gruvenparts.com/website/cart/cart.php?target=product&product_id=344&category_id=60
  12. mimjed has got a good point. That should be your perfect solution though not much OE shaft to trim... standard length doesn't exactly impress the ladies :norty:
  13. Stop it! You can't just post pics of automotive porn like that! That's great Bill, just what I thought. Did you fit it yourself or was it Star Performance?
  14. nice darts Ben :thumb right: can you help me with 100 minus 25 though...
  15. I have the B&M Racing. Superb build quality and function. Pretty sure it's the 45106 model that's for the Corrado VR. Stealth Racing sell these. http://www.bmracing.com/PRODUCTS/Volkswagen/45106-Precision-Sport-Shifter http://www.bmracing.com/bmracing/installation_instruction/78.pdf An alternative is from Neuspeed, try Awsome Gti. Cheaper available, where the OE shifter is modified. Adski, if Vince can't get hold of them then a quick google came up with: http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=15259035 HTH
  16. But I 'want' a Supersprint :) But agree Racelands do look well made for a budget manifold, Kam Racing words not mind.
  17. Cheers Kev. It's actually Vince who thinks it will not fit. I've since been on the dog to Euro Car Parts £640.78 (official UK distributor) and they say the same. I think steering rack and/or pipes in the way is the issue. Reason I asked is that there are certainly UK Corrados out there with them fitted. BILLCOR or should I say Ben-B now :) comes to mind. If these manifolds do actually fit I'd love to know for sure... Abdul, never pay the sticker price ;)
  18. Calling all that have fitted a Supersprint to their UK VR's. The website lists these as for LHD, part no. 885701 http://www.supersprint.com/eng/SPP2000000885701.asp Can anyone confirm that these fit UK RHD Corrado VRs with no problem/modification? Cheers
  19. http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/RoyalSteeringWheels  Supplied me with a brand new s/wheel for my other car. Refurb work looks spot on from auction pics so might be able to help. Chaps name is Jack... msg him via ebay. HTH Dom
  20. I have Nick, thanks, and sound advice. Always read your Bentley manual first  Dealer method is to fit an engine support frame!
  21. Thanks was8v and Supercharged ... be making a few more calls tomorrow, eager to return her to her usual 100%
  22. VR6 has decided to give me some extra work  Starter motor. Can't grubble too much though... it's done it's job for 13yrs! :) So need a new OE Bosch Starter motor - has the VW part no. 02A 911 023 H stamped on it (may have been superceded now... anyone bored and with access to EKTA mind checking? :) ) As always like to keep everything OE. Since stealer item is also an exchange item and about £160  , does anyone know if the GSF or EuroCarParts ones' are identical refurbed Bosch items? Any pointers on refitting I should be aware of? Do you apply a light coating of grease to the spindle or anything? The copper bush set in the housing looks like fun to remove! Once out (I'll try not to drop it in to the housing  ) any pointers on fitting the new one? Does it just push straight in or does it require a gentle but firm shove? :norty: TIA Dom
