t25? t3 is what there known as in germany, any way ive got a few of them and love them the wbx has its issues and not the best on fuel id go for a 16td as this is an inline 4 it is an easy swap for 2.0 gti motor for a more reliable economical petrol engine. i have a 19td aaz fitted in 1 which is a good option and works well. And ive got my beasty 1 which has a 2.7tt out of an s4 remapped to 340hp porsche 996 6 speed box. if you go t4 id go for the 102 2.5tdi as is best imho but t4 handling is a bit iffy after a t3 but chuck in sach hd,and ambulance anti roll bars all vag parts and big improvement in the handling. t5 worked on and fixed loads not for me.

well now that's looking better how was it looking on the parts front, think that was all I had! I seam to remember the bumper was massive so it could be trimmed down to suit what ever body was put on,on the fg road car the bumpers specific for each shell if that makes sense ends up a proper spliter. put most of the pajero back together after its last off just planning the radio install. the new brushless buggy are proper fast if you do get one my be best to turn it down a bit most esc can be adjusted if you get the link tool, what sort of area you going to run it on is another thing

No more turbo crx, turbo corrado instead

right I see staggered boost the hardest part is the plumbing as you run a small turbo or supercharger at low power then bigger turbo boosts top end. seen it done but never tried it was going to do the van like that the plan was to run the Porsche box with a 1.9tdi and run twin staggered turbos small, large. but when for an b5 s4 motor that runs 2 parallel turbos the staggered set can be done a bit different and ive seen the second turbo mounted some way from the engine and still work well. don't know if the g60 will take boost from the turbo or if it needs to be bypassed. -

yes plenty of g60 converted to turbo. the difference between the 8 /16v as far as turbo go's is the head flow the 8v doesn't flow as well so is more limited on turbo size before you start melting things. back in the day my mate ran a mk1 with a 2.0 16v turbo think it was a t25 with blow tru webbers off a lotus that was 1 of the fastest in Europe at the time. -

thanks mate. no problem with the bits will be there if when you need them wasn't planning of starting for a bit I will do a bit of checking as I tend to play around with all sorts going auto to manual is easy enough and ive run 2.0 8v in camper conversions on auto ecu with no problems think its just some outputs. know what some projects are like my van is one lots of niggles most heat related but that's what u get I suppose with 2 turbo v6 and no real air flow as its at the back. then theirs the lift as vw didn't intend them to go over 150mph but hay if it was easy. -

ive got an engine and box already the car is off the road as I bought the car for my father who was a disabeled oap and was specifically looking for a 2.0 auto not a lot of them around but sadly he passed away a few months ago RIP. so corrado is sat outside and I want to build a 2.0 16v with merc supercharger 6 speed box. so from memory the auto cars have quit a lot different even the subframes I think as the engine mount are different but most people don't bother swapping that out. driveshafts pedalbox wiring ecu this may be an issue as my car is 2.0 8v and I'm not sure a manuel ecu works the auto box on a corrado is not the cleverest of things so doesnt require a lot to control it. think it's only a few inputs shifter, cable, shifter trim starter motor ??? -

I have a 2.0 auto that I will be changing to 2.0 16v and 6 speed I would be interested in swapping manual for auto parts -
40s are hard work tbh my old mk1 was running them on a 2.0abf and always seemed to be tinkering with them sounded awesome when on song but you could also watch the fuel gauge going down

if you need some 100mm drive shafts I got some in the garage

air con or not different fitment

don't think turboing the 8v would be very cost effective the 20v can be had for so little my mates was free after he sold off the rest of the a3. you could go g60 or super charge a 20 8v,im fancying a merc blower on an abf 16v for my corrado.but again a lot more than 20vt. as kevin said k03 is the least laggy, the s4 motor in my van runs a pair of k03 and that has no lag I can idle that in 6 gear and just pull away.

vr6 would not be top of my list for a mk1,only driven 1 a friend had ok in a straight line but no faster than my old abf mk1 which would kill it on a twisty road, think 4 cyl suits the light mk1 better. Jamie you talked to the wrong bloke about a 2.7 bi turbo into a t3 mine is the only 1 I know of in this country remapped s4 340hp

and if the car is wide or narrow track

all the dpf seem prone to blocking up if the car is not driven right.no good if you just potter around town.ive had loads of cars in with blocked filter some as low as 40k and once blocked even a realy good long motorway blast only clears part of it out and soon comes back on.

as the others have said alarm would be the first thing id check.a golf i had from nearly new did the same thing charge the battery and after a couple of weeks low power would kick it off charge it and off we go again remove the alarm and perfect.thing to remember is that a couple of weeks is a very lowcurrent drain.

your looking for a 2+2 adaptor
-
is there not another reservoir that will fit

it does depent on how it snapped,as said.ive had to sort out loads. cheap stud extractors tend to be very hard and shatter as they break it is possable to break the majority of them out with a center punch then clean up with a burr cutter.

i used to love the old 2 stroke my last 1 was a tuned f2 ypvs 60hp at the wheel doesnt sound much but upset lots.then a couple of gsxr was fun to start with but the elastic throttle response soon wore off. ducatis next the bike ive owned for 18years my 900superlight not powerfull but up thru wales just spot on
