Long story short, I was thrown out of my house Yesterday. What money I saved up for a charger rebuild now has to go to other things. I can barely afford the car as is with sports car insurance here in the states. Work + school is killing me and I dont know about working any more hours. Lord help me if the Rado breaks =( At the moment I might be on the look out for an MK2 GTI/Golf in replacement of the rado If I do end up selling the Rado, im debating if I should part it out. I have alot of performance parts in the car that I would like to keep or sell seperately. How much money are ya likely to make parting a G60 Corrado?

College student, Criminal justice and criminal science Plan on being a police officer or special agent . Father wants me to come back to Ireland to take over the family business though! Would love to move back home, just dont know if that is what I want to do. 30-45k starting pay, up to 60k by 5 years and it keeps going up and can have up to 10-15k in overtime ;) Retire in 30 years and ill get 75% of my final pay as pension for the rest of my retired days ;P Ill be around 53 when that happens. 6 cops in my family as is ;P I guess its in the blood. Always wanted to be one!

If ya call em up they say it fits perfect in a corrado slc!

ANyone have these? Possibly pics of them in their Rado? I'm debating on getting the Scroth Rallye 3 point harness or 4 point harness's. My auto seatbelts dont feel like working, and frankly I want harnesses for autocross anyway! Anyway, anyone able to tell a difference between the 3 and 4 point? Safety differences, etc etc?

Whatever you do, make sure to wrap up your wiring and such in some good heat resistant wrap! Turbos get hot ;P Oil cooler would probably do ya well to. Solid front motor mount would be nice to on a G60, its a tight fit back there, could beat back the firewall thing as well Get a pretty flexible downpipe. You could probably make up your own kit for around $1500-$1700 I'm partial to smaller turbos , hitting spool early on is just so fun and you usually keep a good amount of torque across the rev range. Ko4 perhaps?

Welp, I fixed that intake pipe thing and put the clamp on it back on hoping it stops leaking some now haven't tried yet since battery is still dead ;P Cleaned up all the oilish stuff. Hope to god that stops the whit smoke!

Alright, I dont uinderstand why oil is coming into the intake thing ? Why is it leaking from there... I know someone can help me here ;P

Alrighty... I guess I should replace that pipe and the clamp on it, anyone know the part #s? I figure thats whats causing the white smoke then..

Ok, me and a pal of mine think we found something that isn't right. The connection to the intake manifold seems to be not on correctly. the hose clamp isn't on correctly anyway. When we felt below it there was a sutty black oil...was kind of thin for oil though.... Which was leaking down onto the other side of the throttle body...other stuff to im guessing. Didn't ignite, didn't smell like gas. Thats all ive found out so far, hope you blokes can help me. Maybe this is the prob?

Humm sounds good, I was just thinken about something else. Would the head get hot enough to evaporate the gas that falls onto it ? I mean I had JUST started the car and saw white smoke... How fast does that thing heat up?

So, all I have to do is get the click of the fuel pump going and then check for leaks? Don't have to actually start the dub?

Humm, I think I got it...would this be how it looks as im looking at it from the front? Also what is an obvious sign of leaking other then tears or or holes? Any discoloration or anything? Side note, the smoke was kind of coming from the inside where it looks like that black pipe is and creeping over the top. Pal of mine said if it was the headgasket there would be a smell that isn't exactly like fuel and more of an ammonia or something Is he off his rocker?

Ya, we had just started the car (jump start) and I noticed it. Was alot of white smoke honestly... I dont know e xactly what to check henny =/ This is new to me and alot more complicated then a coolant change ;P If anyone wants to give me a step by step guide via PM it would help tons...

well it kind of smelled like gas... how bad is head gasket failure =/

My battery was dead so I got a friend of mine to jump s tart it for now. Upon doing this I noticed white smoke coming out of the head/intake manifold side of the head. He said it smelled like unburnt fuel, not really unburnt oil, at least thats what my friend says, maybe a mixture of both. Funds are low and I just started a new job and this couldn't have happened at a worse time for me. Anyone have any ideas? Also, car has been sitting for a while, could this cause this?

If people want to make up guides but dont have a digi camera I can take pics for them if they just tell me what they need(and how to find it) Guides like this would be a huge help to me this site taught me how to .. change coolant change oil adjust shifter Hey I gotta start somewhere, I would love to do more stuff but not 100% sure on how to do anything and dont want to be asking questions every day ;P
