I know Audi TT and Audi A8 seats are a pretty straightforward fit in a Rado but what other seats have people used without major headaches?

No, someone had spilled oil in the past so it has to come out. Floors are solid though and nothing leaks at all. -

Thanks for the swift replies, unfortunately the distance for the seats mentioned is just too far to be viable. Andy, those do look like the pattern im after but unless you could post/package then im kind of scuppered. Ive already bought things off Chris, thats where the decent front seats came from that look like they match your back ones.
-
Im after either a grey back seat to match a good set of front seats ive got, or a good drivers seat to match the other back seat that ive got!?!?! Basically, what odd Rado grey seats have you got?

The bottom spring dislodged on mine causing the same issue (16v).

In 2000 the price of oil was about $30bbl and the forecourt prices were approaching the £1 per litre mark which prompted the blockades at the refineries. The price at the minute is about $47bbl and the forecourt price at Asda tonight was £1.03 (approximately). That seems about right to me, also bear in mind that inflation, running costs and basic wage increases means that even if the oil price returned to $30bbl the price per litre is unlikely to return to the same as it was in 2000.

What's that interior?

I fancy some 16" or 17" banded steels but don't know where to start with donor wheels and width. What have people used?
-
I don't know to be honest but I didn't change the wiper stalk, just the indicator.
-
No it's a smooth movement just painfully slow. Slight drizzle the other day and had the wipers on fast and they were struggling to keep up. I'm offshore now but only just remembered.
-
My wipers are really slow, also there isn't much difference between the two speeds. Is this normal?

Cheers fella, I'll not stand on any toes so I'll see what happens with the leather first. Cash could be paypalled or bank transferred within 24 hours. Much appreciated.
-
Hi mate, if the leather donation to Uckfield falls through and you can wait 16 days as I'm offshore I'll buy both interiors off you for £180 and give a further £30 to the club. I could pick up on the weekend of the 29th November if it was to happen.
-
Gutted I'm missing these, I'm away offshore tomorrow and can't get down.

Are the dark patches on the cloth seats damage or just dirt mate?

I dont mind debadged grilles, the car looks mint.

Just watched the news in amazement as the transport minister stated he was "watching retailers" to make sure they reduced pump prices in line with the drop in crude prices. This from a government currently taking 77p per litre in tax and duty in comparison with the 5p per litre the retailers make. Talk about pot and kettle!

Hate bonnet bras, just had to have my bonnet repainted due to a bonnet bra rubbing through in the past.

We live on a new estate with reasonably expensive houses, the place is full of flash, expensive new cars but the neighbours always seem to ask about the Corrado thats suddenly appeared on the driveway.

Just so you lads and lasses know what to expect. As already said, why is it dearer to pay monthly by direct debit? Its an automatic payment method that energy companies give you a DISCOUNT for using, but the DVLA charge you extra for doing it. Theres no admin involved, its an automated system paying another automated system. They have just thrown random figures around. A one off DD payment for 6 months is cheaper than paying at the Post Office, but the 12 months DD is the same as paying at the Post Office. Then by paying monthly over 12 months its dearer again!?
-
DVLA are thieving Bar Stewards. The whole new taxation system is hiding so many underhand stealth taxes its obscene.

A budget tyre that has surprised me massively on my wife's 520 is Nexen N8000. They were on when we bought the car but replaced the front two with the same type from Camskill. Decent traction in the wet from a BMW it's always difficult. -
id be interested in a red carpet
