  1. Just fitted the new wheels to the car, needed a 6mm spacer on the rear, and I think I'll be needing to fit some new suspension to the car due to the rubbing I heard. As you can see form the 4th pic, it's all pretty tight in there. Looks good though, worth the wait. 8)
  2. No, they're "Weitech" springs and shocks, lowered 45 mm. The springs' actually nowhere near the tyre, it's this guard / cap thing that is. I'll hopefully be having a look in a bit. Did you use the spacers in the end?
  3. Andy, I've got 215/40/17 on the wheels, and used a 6mm spacer on the front, and the tyres rubbed. When I took it off, they were able to go lock to lock with no rubbing. The problems here are 1) the tyre is a fingers' width from the arch, and 2) on the inside the tyre is about 4mm from the cap / guard at the bottom of the suspension spring [which you don't seem to have in your photo]. I'm getting a guy to come over later to check it out... :? ....will post the pics.
  4. Have you got them as well too Hot ?
  5. Andy, let me know how you get on with fitting? I tried them without the spacers and it's so tight it's untrue, can just about get my fingers between the tyre and the arch. Looks good though ! 8) Where did you get them from, RSD ?
  6. Just spacers.......that pic in your avatar, they're the wheels I'm fitting! Great stuff. 8)
  7. Cheers, I was thinking around 8 / 10 mm for the front. I could get them from Demon Tweeks, made by Eibach, but there's a 3 week wait involved.
  8. Does anyone have the details of a company that sells spacers with locating rings for 5x100 ? I've tried Demon Tweeks, Elite Direct, Hyperformance...... Any other suggestions? Wanna get these wheels on, they're wasted on the living room!
  9. I've met a few people with this spoiler, and seen as many different ways of securing it. Those that did it differently to the instructions: some have gone for actually bonding the sides to the top of the headlamp cases, and some for a massive overload on the velcro, allowing easy removal.
  10. How'd he get those dials like that ?

    Ive got a puddle

Could try the seals around the hatchback window / boot. I had a problem like that in my old Golf, caused by the smallest of damage to the seal.
  15. Ahh.......wise advice indeed.
  16. If I buy this "roll on" upgrade, can I stick 7 assorted Max Power stickers to the paint, or will I need to take the Blue Tac holding the side skirts on? Also, can I then use Prit-Stick to add pink neons to the underside of the car? If so how would that add to the performance, I heard they give you an extra 500lb/ft torque, is this true? I'd basically be trying to beat Tippex-Man, tough I know, but you've gotta have goals !!
  17. Christ, I'll get involved in some of that for £89 !!!
  18. He's obviously forgot to have his name added to the blank space on the sun visor, so we all know who's "VR6" it really is!
  19. I think what you saw may have been this. I read somewhere else that it was a hoax, and that kinda makes sense, especially when you see the picture, and read the fantasy engine specs. http://www.eurotuned.com/vw/new_corrado.htm
  20. I've got the RAM Air kit from AMD. think it was about £125 fitted..........sounds absolutely superb  :D
  21. Yeah....here you go....
  22. Yeah, it's now between OZ Titans and Oxigin 2's. I think the Oxigin 2's are ahead at the mo, but the Titan's are a solid choice......
  23. Cheers :) :) What do you think of them ?
  24. Hey there, Has anyone seen what OZ Titans look like on a Corrado ? Any Pics ?
