  4. Yeah, just got them fitted last week.......nice ride.
  5. Yeah, that Blind guy was amazing. Good luck to him. 8)
  6. Yeah, mine used to make a rattling sound, and it was the screws in the dash surround that needed tightning.

    Tyre size

Depends how much you've lowered the car?
  8. Cheers guys, appreciate the advice. Think I'll give MCM a ring tomorrow, and may have to bribe my friend who works at a hirecar company... [storm] AMD said something about that they'd have to have the head sent away to be skimmed? and tested.
  9. Yeah, I'm sure they'll use any excuse to ramp up the price!.....I'll pay them a visit tonight on the way home.....I think this is why car mechanics tend to have a lot of friends!
  10. I find it's just always an absolute battle whenever I have anything to do with a Main Dealers.....it's like speaking to children half the time, I swear. Not that this was supposed to be a thread to have a go at the Dealerships.....but any excuse I suppose! :D
  11. That's a good price.....might be an idea to get a quote off the dealer before hand. Although my local Dealer is just the worst.....Drift Bridge Epsom. Avoid at all costs.
  12. Exactly......best for a local place, and I can get a courtesy car from the Dealerships. The guy at AMD said that they'd have to send it away to be fixed....is that not going to ramp up the price?
  13. Sorry, should have explained it. I've had a quite obvious Coolant leak, and lil bit of rough running, so I asked them to look into it while they had the car. Needs new leads as well, but they're cheap! They seemed to think it was £1000 for them to do, so I'm a bit worried about what the Stealers might charge.
  14. Hi guys, as you may have already guessed from the title, I'm not in the best of spirits today after yesterday's soul shattering trip to AMD [none of it their fault btw], so feel free to ignore the sarcasm. Basically, after months of p***ing about with the wheels and suspension I had the day booked to finally get it all fitted, drove up to Oxford, only to find out that the dozy morons who sold me the wheels only supplied 3 of the apparently unique hubspacer things, so the wheels are still not on. At least the coilovers were fitted. All besides the point, really. I also got the delicious news that the Head Gasket has a leak, and that it's going to cost big money, with an outside chance of it requiring a new engine, depending on my luck. Better start saving. Basically, I'd be really grateful if anyone has any experiences, advice etc about what this entails. I'm probably going to have to get it done at the local Stealers due to courtesty car for work etc...and that they may have to send the head away? :( Cheers Ben
  15. Yep, with the greatest of respect, mental.
  16. Blue G60, K reg, TOORA[?] wheels.............Ewell Village, outside the Spring 7pm ?
  17. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14936 That's the link to the pictures I posted of them before I got the new suspension....
  18. Mine's lowered 45mm, and I had to use a 6mm spacer on the back to clear the spring. Saying that, the wheels rubbed, and the noise with 4 people in was enough to make me get coilovers [not fitted yet]. The wheels were pretty much flush against the body of the car, so I'd think with a 20mm spacer the wheels would stick out a lot, since they only come in 8" widths. Maybe worth a try, if you can afford for it to go the way of the pear.
  19. Do you want a cheque or PayPal ?....cheers
  20. I think you need [or the way I did it, and works perfectly] is that you get the two arms that now come as an all in one type package, arm and blade, and one replacement passenger side blade to fit onto the driver's side, to fit the windscreen size. You can find the original topic http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=153&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=lupo+wiper&start=140 there seems to be a few combinations of part numbers, because they keep changing, but i think it's: V6X2 998 406 (you need 2 of these) V1J2 955 425 A (you need one of these)
  21. It's something to do with the corrado ones being pants on account of the weak springs. The lupo wiper arms fit straight on, and work perfectly, allowing you to drive in the rain above three miles an hour. :D
  22. Cheers for the comments guys. :D I've been busy [at the expense of the car], but now I want to sort the wheels out before the mess in the garage grows over them. I'd like people's opinions on whether they'd change the suspension or the tyres? Obviously changing the tyres to 205's is cheaper, but doesn't gaurantee that they won't rub, causing more outlay on the suspension.
  23. Hang on, that looks exactly like a McDonalds drive-thru in the background, great attention to detail, these designers.
