hello last week i changed the water in my vr and now it seems to have a oil leak?? :( ive not gone under it to see where its coming from yet , but i also notice there is know NO OIL TEMP SHOWING ON MY SPEEDO?? is this coz the oil is a lil low? like half way? or where is the oil temp sensor?

well its always just under the 110 mark .... i think that might be right coz i always hear the fan come on when the car turns off but not really when its on!"!!!! my car now seems to have a oil leak to add to all my problems!!!!!!!!!!!

il try and have a look for the lambda connection............... i nothice there is a yellow wire with a yellow connector just hanging loose?? its a single wire with a thin long yellow plastic connector......... it was last seen looking suspicious hanging around the thermo housing estate???lol

my vr seems to always run at between 100to 109 water temp so what turns the fan on at lower temps? i put a new thermostat about six months ago so hope its not that......

ok just ran vag-com again and lambda is back this is what came up! 2 FAULTS FOUND 00537 LAMDA (OXYGEN SENSOR) REGULATION 11-10 CANTROL LIMIT NOT REACHED-INTEMITTENT 00532 SHAREWARE VERSION TO DECODE ALL DTC's 07-10 PLEASE REGISTER/ACTIVATE -INTERMITTENT ok does this mean it really is the lambda as its back? whats the second lot mean??

can someone run there car and then put there hand on fuse 109 ( FUEL PUMP FUSE0) ONCE THEY TURN IT OFF DO YOU FEEL A CLICK COMING FROM THAT FUSE?? thats what mine does, i feel a click ....... is it just 109 disconnecting?

i still cant find the problem with my car but whatever it is its happening more often.......... its like SOMETHING turns off for a second while moving, i here CLICK revs drop car jerks and then every thing is back to normal???? yesterday night it dropped the revs turned offand as i went to turn it back on it just went click click CLICK NOTHING DEAD tried again and same thing happend just wouldNT turn on........ then 4th time engine turned and it was fine!!!!!!!!!! for a little bit i have a small feeling it could be fuse relay? or one of them BIG NUMBERED FUSES? ON another subject........ I SAW a P REG CORRADO YESTERDAY IN ISLINGTON NORTH LONDON....... DIDNT THINK THERE WAS SUCH A THING ???????/

ok here is the prob......... past 6 months every time i changed the fuel it would cut out at lights, but once i remove and refit the maf plug its runs fine, however lately its been fine at the lights and now jerks and kinda cuts off for a second while moving??? anyway yesterday it started reving dodgy and was cutting out at lights .. after about a hour it did the jerking thing while moving and it was perfect at the lights? was revving perfect while still but jerks alot while moving?????????? this is making me think the maf is the prob? also the fuse box relay buzzes hummmssss and crackles at times? seperate problem or all connected? HELP

so does it say scan finished when everything is checked? or does that line keep spinning forever?

no i dont think it was running>>>> so how do i know when the scan is complete?

hello just did as you said and it seemed to work....... think i might have stopped it abit early as it never said test finished or nothing........ It came up with ENGINE SPEED SENSOR error where is this sensor and how much do they cost? would this be the reason for it cutting as im driving?

i downloaded the 401.9 and connected it to the car but havent got a clue how to use it?? what should i click? how do i even know if its reading my ecu? i ran it and it did a search thing checking 01 02 03 15 25 ect and nothing came up? but i ran it later when it wasnt even connected to the ecu and it still did the same thing? sorry this is all very new to me and havent got the slightest clue what i should be clicking :oops: :mad:

hay guys just got my vag-com leads in the post!!!!!!!!!!! only problem nw is i cant work out what i need to down load from ross-tech??? there seems to be fore things on there, what one is for corrado vr6 1994? the freebee one? also to save pages ...... i just went to vag to buy the sensors that go on the thermo housing ( blue sensor and yellow one) they gave me a black one with a blue ring round it??? have vag changed them?? this is the third time as vag kept giving me the wrong shape ones .......... so i cant trust the experts nomore!!!! :lol:

my heater lights dont work the light and the cigi lighter dont work the interior lights work but the green bit on the switch dont work but the sunroof switch does light up green and all the rest work,,ie window switch lights????

ok guys my heater is only working on level 4 and not 1.2.3..... I know its common and alot of people ave to change them but mine but it all works fine if i remove the knob!!!!!!!!!! ie its the knob pushing down to hard cauusing the copper bit only to conduct on level 4.............. S orry this might be old news to most ............. but if u got that problem try taking the nob off then turning it on??

think it could be the rocker cover... Also noticed the outer metal part of the ht lead had alot of burnt oil on it!!!!!!!! and on the white bit of the plug/plugs there is alot of brown like maybe it overheated? or is it normal for it to be brown just on the white bit where is says the plug code ? where the white joins onto the 10mm bolt bit?

hay just removed ht lead number 1 and there is oil on the upper side of the spark plug??(not the spark end but the ht end of the plug) how the hell did it get there?? Wouldnt that stop it conducting a spark?

yep ive messed about with the bulbs at times......... do you recon you can see if there dead by looking at them?? how many big fuses am i ment to have ?? i swear there is tomany empty spaces?? and i got 3 that have the number 53 on them??

i had i similer problem , Changed every thing and once i changed the expantion cap it was ok, but stand outside the car and you feel loads of heat........ All gone down hill now runs at 110

hello has anyone had prolems with the the lights on the heater control and cigi lighter not working??? Firstly when i got the car every now and the it would blow the fuse(blue fuse) but now ive noticed no heater conrol lights, no cigi lighter and fuse is ok??? Could it be a dodgy grand connection? where would i find this?

ok im looking at ebay but not sure what one is for myy car with serial port ?? Cant seem to see the right bits........ anyone got ten mins to spare and look at ebay for me and the correct one to go for?? perfer UK or GERMANY to by it from

cheers thats the same old laptop i got....... ok so do i need the USB type obd2 lead or the other screw in thing on the other end??
