  3. Cheers bud :) Just not sure if worth the trip when I have 2 kids with me - no chance they sit still for 3 hours :shocked!:
  4. Cheers Jim. Is it just sitting there for 3 hours then??? Of the AGM is 3 hours including other events and free tea/biccy too? ;)
  5. Cheers Andy? Are Xenon's = HIDS? If so are they legal on our cars?
  6. Cheers bud :) U sorted now ref your replies?
  7. Hi Is it just a case of just turning up and aim for the normal car park? Is there anything to pay ref on the day? Thanks
  8. 1st time read your thread, Sanky :thumb right: Golf or Corrado still? And your parking is worse than mine on return trip  ;) Ref greasing rear spoiler - really easy? Coz i want a go now!
  9. Correction - i think i did read your thread before!
  10. Never read your thread before, Sean Hopefully read it all before your return Christmas! U coming to any CCGB Meets in August then? U will be greatly missed on here too! :( All the best! PS: Any Corrado owners at work then?
  11. Just noticed my front side lights comes on slowly ...dim to bright. Is that normal? Is it the bulb?
  12. Good to meet up again, Stuart Strange that I still never seen your RED C yet even though we live in same town!
  13. As one front high beam bulb blown One fog bulb blown Got some clear side indicators to fit Want to place nice amber film on fog lights Apart from upgraded headlight loom... What bulbs/LED good for all the front/side lights??? I am thinking OSRAM Nightbreakers for main beams - not sure of the others? Manual does not specify type of side bulbs :( Thanks!
  14. Ok Temp fix worked :thumb right: As u close sunroof tilt, U push HARD this back (same direction as the other side of sunroof is moving) Better if one person close sunroof, the other push that thing back! If u on your own like me then, Close a little - then push that thing back a little (or as much as u can) Close more - push more Until fully close - then stick long screwdriver thru sunroof headliner and push MORE Now - open/close sunroof a little to get right tight closing
  15. :thumb right: I ll wotsapp u later! When u in?
  16. OK found these 2_threads... Will try this one as a temp fix: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=5619 And this one for permanent fix? http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?1355481-The-Ultimate-sunroof-repair-post
  17. Thanks Stuart Let me think about it... So mine s not fixable?
  18. And this is WHY I (Unlucky "DIY-disaster" Wayne) ONLY works on a car WHEN its safely and DRY park in the garage ... :( Honda is in garage being tamper by me - so needs to stay in garage. Today sunny and dry and thought i look at the broken sunroof ... Sorry pic not very clear ... Manually by allen key it does NOT slide back coz the passenger side cannot drop below the roof - now i know! Passenger side looks ok? So why not abled to drop? Driver side Ok, what about tilt up? Cool :thumb right: At least i can breathe driving on a hot summer day on motorway! :D Ok, now i can NOT close sunroof?!!! :shocked!: Hope it dosent rain!!! :( :help: :help: :help:
  19. And what did u use to clean head lining? Took my head lining off and the rear coat hooks I still can't get off  Was your easy to remove?
  20. Very very nice looking  Love all the work u done so far too :thumb right: Can I ask in the rear bumper off PIC, on right is that the sunroof drain tube?
  21. Lol I like it! It brings back the leather smell  But maybe each to their own! Oh Beware what leather u have! If yours quite modern then they have a protective layer on top. So however u clean/nourish it may not make a difference unless u remove that protective layer. As for old leather where its brittle, dried and hard as a tree bark like mine other car...Gliptone does wonders to it as it very gooey stuff to soak into :thumb right: @Delfini Where u based? I got some Gliptone for u to try if u want?
  22. +1 Glipstone leather cleaner to clean then Glipstone leather conditioner :) http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/gliptone-liquid-leather-cleaner/prod_211.html
  23. Well Another trip and still no blue smoke. I know its only happened a couple of times ... 1. When it used to stall, and if i start the car BEFORE the car comes to a full stop - - the ABS lights stays on and blue smoke whenever i drive off 2. Ocassional the whole trip would have blue smoke whenever drive off (like this morning and engine was fully hot and traffic was light) So maybe temperamental ...will monitor ...
