I would think as long as u stick with the local authority noise pollution policy - then even if your neighbour complains they can't do anything about it. I know several families have kids with full drum kit in the attic - feel for their neighbours - eeek! I have a piano - even then restrict the kids playing on them from 9am - 9pm. All in all it depends where u live (quiet or already a noisy main road or with noisy kids etc) and type of neighbours (elderly, young family or singles who like to party every weekend at 2am) and what is acceptable between everyone (even if the law is on your side - it is nice to all reach a compromise) Imagine the worse when your current neighbour are happy with your angle grinder ....then 1/2 way through the restore new neighbours move in and they complain like mad....then u wonder if your angle grinder have another use! :lol:

Just noticed this thread :) I must say since owning the C - I have never had so many compliments!!! :thumbleft: 1. Overtook a mini on bypass - Mini decided to follow me all the way home and beeps me at traffic light: "Nice car, mate - I always wanted one! By the way, I followed u to let u know one of your brake lights gone" 2. Garage that did MOT - "really nice car, got a big soft spot for the Corrado s" 3. Stopped at lights, van driver beeps me - "is that the one on gumtree? Looks nice, I have a Golf Concept myself" :o
