  4. fitted the de-cat pipe today! :D sounds totally diffarent, more throaty! and theres a real difference mostly at the bottom end i reckon, but it seems to rev better all the way through the rev range. as per usual though it wasnt a straight fit,it wasnt long enough :? had to chop it in the middle and put a piece in but all went smoothly apart from that. 8) neil.
  5. phew, not me neither? so the sets should hopefully be replaced for the other guys then? 8) neil.
  6. id give some 5mm shims a try m8,although being et35 you shouldnt have any problems... maybe its just the height of the wheel thats causing the rubbing? neil. :D
  7. here ya go m8,i think tempest means the male version of these... edit: how slow am i???????????

  11. offse or et will be stamped on the inside of the wheel or where the center cap is. ideally you want 35 i think? you could safely use 10mm shims/spacers,but just watch for catching your wheel arches then. :)
  12. what kits are you guys using? i tried fitting an xtreme kit off ebay, and well to be honest it was an absolute pile of shit  it was catching everywhere (3 places) and the wiper spindle was bending and twisting. and yep everything was fitted correctly, the instructions advise that bending the linkage may be needed... what a load a bollocks that is! neil. :?
  13. stevemac, suppose i can hope, but its just not my luck m8... cheers for the comments guys, and the p/shop shilakadaddy! so now i have to let the mods commence? just no more days like today!

  16. cheers, had the mk1 nearly 6 years now... today has not been good  spent hours trying to fit a single wiper which is absolute fuckin sh1te,so im sending it back. and then reversing out of my mates garage,i went right into a chavved/fibreglassed/piece a sh1t pug 106 thing?. smashed fibreglass everywhere. havent looked at the rear of the raddo, cant be ar$ed and dont wanna know...
  17. nice one m8 8) ill keep that in mind... neil.
  18. thanks m8,am i right in thinking the fuel filter is under the rear drivers side sill/arch? well under the floorpan? neil. :D
  19. cheers m8,think a black centered wheel would look ok then? neil.
  20. thanks a lot guys, much appreciated :!: h100vw,the charger was rebuilt to stage 2 at jabbasport 10k miles ago... seems to be pushing around 11psi,after the mfa type check. :) do you mean go for an original vw oil filter h100vw? cheers again people :D neil.

  22. sounds like its working fine then? unless its just missing the intermittent which im not sure on anyway??? the mfa stalk isnt supposed to click or anything, theres just a couple of brass contacts inside the stalk that make a connection. :D neil.
  23. ok m8 total guess but yeah i reckon it should be an intermittent rear, being 1990 spec>>>... :D mk2's arent my strongest point as you can tell with the non 100% sure stylee answers  neil.
