a bent wishbone can cause the pulling to one side,i reckon youd know if youve banged a wheel etc though? :? unless its always done it? neil.

mmmm,im a fan of the 928 rims too 8) not got a pic of them on a rado sorry... id like to run 8's all round,not sure of the clearances though,et 35 should let you run 8's i reckon but dont take it as gospel. edit:just to add,i run 8x16 design 90's all round but with 195/45's,little stretch plus its standard ride height so no catching yet :lol: neil. :)

is the exhaust manifold not cracked? sounds weird :? if it is the little ends and its a kr/9a lump then you can leave the engine in,take off the head,drop the sump and pop the pistons and con rods out. good luck with it m8 :( :)

alright guys,sorry to bring this up again but seems i have a problem too... the spoiler works fine on the switch,up and down. yet its intermittent automatically. if i wind it up through 2nd and 3rd it comes up at around 45mph :? then goes down at around 10mph. but when im just pottering about up through the gears,nothing happens,it dosnt come up at all! :? any ideas? thanks,neil. sorry for jumping all over your thread,Bobbywhacker.

thanks m8,they do look better in the flesh i reckon,more shiny! like i say im not 100% my self,but still suprised at the general consensus,someone today said they look like wheel trims! :? i agree about the done to death,not normally the style of wheel id go for. ill get it dropped,if im still not sure ill be looking for some blocklights or sommet,i loves a deep dish really 8) and ill finish by saying,arent these things a fantastic motor to polish! still needs a few goings over with a polish with plenty of cut to bring the paint up to scratch,before i can start with the propper polish then the wax,mmmm. 8) neil.

the porsche rims are growing on me :D cant wait till the konigsports arrive! washed it again today,then polished but it ended up being too dark for pics after the polish,and it rained as per usual :mad:

can anyone explain to me how the ariel is wired at the stereo end? i have a spare black wire in the cars loom,where should it go? also theres a white wire that runs into the ariel wire,is this what the black should go with? cheers,neil.

the lower the et/offset,the more the wheel will sit proud of the wheel arch. :wink: et/offset is the following measurement... eg=an 8" wide wheel,et35. imagine a line through the center at 4". now measure the distance from the center line to the inside of the wheel where it sits on the hub. this is the et/offset,35mm from the center of the wheel to the mounting face. :thumbleft:
