aye m8 :D i think on later models the rear wiper is intermittent. push once for on/intermittent and push again to turn off. im sure if you fit the relay from a later model then yours would work the same way. 8) but dont quote me on that :lol:

ahhh,your thinking it works in a diffarent way m8! :D to operate the rear wiper and squirter,you push away,towards the dash. the stalk should rest in the original position when pushed or pulled. :D

im sure the mfa temp reading is taken from the sensor on the back of the head? correct me if wrong! as for the wipers,it may be the relay... its positioned on the right hand side of the fuse box somewhere iirc... could you try one from another car? shouldnt be expensive new though. could be the stalks,easy to replace,but its more a problem with mk4 polo's.a mk4 polo stalk is around thirty quid from gsf i think... also check the wiring that runs through to your tailgate,it can split in the rubber boots causing all sorts of weird problems. neil. :)

alright guys n gals :wink: im wanting to replace a few bits on the raddo,if anyone could give any specific info on the following,that would be great. :D 1/spark plugs-what make and number do i need as an original replacement. 2/dizzy cap/rotor arm and leads-are the gsf ones ok if they do them? or how much from vw? 3/oil-what grade? was thinking quantum silver 10w/40's? 4/oil filter-gsf one ok? 5/fuel filter-again gsf? 6/air filter-would like to retain original paper type. 7/coolant/antifreeze-tis the blue stuff i need yeah? 8/is it worth renewing the power steering fluid? 9/lambda sensor-will be having a de-cat pipe soon,thought id replace this as a matter of course at the same time,unless your gonna scare me with the cost??? :oops: 10/all temp/fan switches etc...anything else? sorry for the mahooooosive list,but im new to g60s/corrado's and always like to make sure everythings as it should be my self,have the use of a mates garage. so any pointers etc appreciated. neil. :D

right guys i tried the charger test through the mfa... at tickover i get anything from 540-560 fluctuating with idle. when i wound it up in 3rd,the highest i got was 1760. am i right in thinking the no. at idle is too high,what do i need to check out? what does the 1760 n0. mean? cheers for any suggestions guys. :D

aye i made my own on the mk1,just lengthened the linkage a little and parked it at the drivers side. just thought id try a kit this time,the cantalever thingy bob looks good. 8) the passenger wiper bolts central to the car dosnt it? :oops: cheers,neil.

alright. :D i just bought this de-cat pipe for the g60,the system is currently blowing from the cat anyway :wink: when i fit this,do i need to adjust the fuelling etc some how? how realistic are the quoted power gains? and am i right in thinking ill have no probs mot wise? a mate used a gas anyliser on it yesterday,connected to a pipe in the bay and with a sensor disconnected. the c.o reading he got was 0.2%,and it does hunt a little bit at idle... it has a superchip,and what looks like an anodised/smaller??? pulley!? :shock: any comments/advice appreciated,neil. :wink:

mmmmmm,im sorta leaning away from the knackered cat idea now... if your cat was blocked,you would have a consistent lack of power and it would struggle to rev properly. id be getting the timing checked as the other guys have suggested,but take it to a diffarent garage,and rather than say 'whats up?' just ask for the timing to be checked/set up... neil.
