well have reversed the car onto some ramps so will try some gravity on it all because i'm not gonna be doing anything tomorrow to it. And yeh will be painting them black when its warmer.
-
lol its because when i was doing my ill fated R32 conversion me and Ben were kinda helping each other out with little bits and the throttle body was one of those things, is it an obd1 or obd2 throttle body?? here is Bens thread about your car http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=biggerbigben+r32+corrado&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CCIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fthe-corrado.net%2Farchive%2Findex.php%2Ft-40319.html%3Fs%3Dbf02376bd1a88d9883ff578036194d76&ei=Rx72TpWoDdP78QOBhZSWDA&usg=AFQjCNFmIfGOM2t5ZRsAuMNEkXhHqF0rzQ karl

Really?? havent tried that much PSI as it does say on the easybleed not to exceed 20psi, and did not want to potentially blow any seals and here ya go Rob
-
will get a pic in a bit, and using an easybleed with a spare tyre which i am keeping at 15psi all the time.
-
yeh plus its a pain keeping all that beige clean.
-
there is no air getting in (i think) as there is no bubbles coming from anywhere, i have bled everywhere about 8 times, inc master cylinder, ABS pump, and yeh steve the calipers are the right way around with the bleed nipples facing up.

anyone wanna buy my car?? in near mint condition just need the brakes and clutch fluid bleeding lol so far spent approx 10 hours bleeding the whole system, and still got spongy brakes, never ever had this amount of problem before :-(
-
looking good Rob, i actually prefer the black plastics/carpet compared to all beige.
-
if i'm right this does not have a fly by wire throttle body as i'm sure Ben modded the manifold to run a standard vr6 throttle body?? to loose the r32 jerkiness in traffic and to make the mapping easier with the emerald ecu.
-
need ASAP and would prefer some hubcentric ones. cheers karl
-
well bloody soaked and soooooooo p'd off, have bled the whole sytem again and i mean the whole system, still got a spongy pedal but the brakes are stuck solid and you cant move the wheels at all. seriously not happy.

-
gonna look stunning when done mate
-
yeh very true, thats why on the easybleed they state not to use more than 20psi, i have been cautious and kept it at 15psi
-
what so an eazibleed will not work on a corrado then??
-
just read all this twice as my brake pedal has gone spongy after fitting the brembos, have used an eazibleed and just cant get any pressure through the brake pedal at all :-( have done all four callipers/master cylinder and nothing. threw my toys well and truly out of the cot today, so gonna have a pint later and attempt it again tomorrow.
-
yeh i would say anything with a dish is a no no i'm afraid, and seriously they are just awesome compared to 288's/312's
-
i have a set of these fitted to my corrado so thats why i posted on here about these two sets for sale, you will need 17" alloys for these brakes but it all depends on the style of 17" alloys, 1, 8x17 oz super t's need no spacers 2, 7.5 x17 team 2's need no spacers 3, 8x17 azev a's need no spacers 4, 7.5x17 bbs rc's need 12 mm spacers 5, 7.5x17 gotti's forget it even with 20mm spacers 6, 7.5x17 comps need no spacers so it all depends on the alloy wheel you are using karl
-
front doorcards and can collect whenever as only down the road, may even take rears depending on the condition. karl
-
out of the magnex/jetex/milltek exhausts most commonly used on the corrados the milltek's just arent a great fit, had one fitted on my first corrado and it was always banging, and went into midland vw about 6 times until even they got ****ed off with it and just swapped it for a jetex.
-
and what a good deal we got on your old one eh ha ha
-
cant say about a g60 as not tried them on one sorry, phone Bill at Badger5 about that.
-
straight fit mate no spacer required
