yeh found that wire near the bulkhead when doing my engine transfer, after about 2 hours looking where it went could not find a loose plug, so sealed it up and hid it out of view.

cant beat a mk2 vr6, such a weapon on the roads, first thing to do if you havent is an uprated rear anti roll bar as it totaly transforms the way it will handle with the heavier engine in the front.

yeh you should like them mate, they used to be mine lol i have beige leather recaros already, but just wanted to get them re-trimmed but dont find them that supportive compared to the older mk2 golf recaros.

yeh i was thinking about getting my front seats re-trimmed either over xmas or in the new year, then i seen these and just remembered how comfy they were in my old mk2, so was thinking get these re-trimmed instead of my recaros (nothing wrong with them at all just me being picky) and then bolting the mk2 recaros onto the corrado recaro bases so they sit nice and low.

yeh have seen those mate and might not look too bad sprayed black, but my pipework from the crankcase to the pipe is 100% f****d, or dont you use that with these?? if not i'm sure £70 will be cheaper than buying from the stealers.

well since owning the car i have got throught two of these, both have been totally unusable with splits everywhere on them. Does anybody have a rough cost for a new one from either vw or ford?? or has anyone done these in silicone hose, as i'm sure they would be better than the brittle plastic ones used as standard. cheers karl

why cant you just say its a crap engine and its pants in a corrado, that way you may stop people on here spending there hard earned you swine. But glad your happy with it mate, may be down your way in a few weeks so may drop you a text if thats ok??

if you have no experince of rotary polishing DO NOT get a £40 ebay polisher, you will easily go through lacquer if your not carefull.

ok not the norm on here but looks kinda cool, but dont do the rusty bonnet etc etc rat look, otherwise you will be strung up by your testies

what a complete waste of any car let alone a corrado, will be bought by someone like bigpants and broke up within a week though. makes the existing ones even rarer though.

Just go on ebay etc and get a reg off a late golf vr6 then go and order the pads and discs and hoses for that car, pretty sure any golf from a p plate onwards only had the 288 brakes. Well that's what i did and all mine fitted just fine

yeh i would not buy it either, needs the centre section sorting plus its blowing. Not a good purchase if you did buy it me thinks
