Recently my cooling fan has not been coming on which has led to my car overheating last week. I have tested the fan motor by wiring it to the battery with a switch and that works. The fuse hasn't blown. I did remove the part that I thought was responsible as it had corroded into nothing but I;ve misplaced it and I'm not certain of what parts to order. Suggestions please?

You "infected" it. What with? ;)

Must be my spirited driving then ;) Haven't heard my fans for a while though which is concerning I used to park up and here them after I'd turned the car off now I don't.

Just wondering what's a normal temp range for the Corrado whilst driving. A month ago before I resprayed it I was sat in some traffic and steam started to come from under the bonnet and it displayed a temp of 128°c! Obviously had to pull over and wait for it to cool down looked like a right plonker. So I fitted a new water hose because the other was leaking all the coolant out. Topped up my coolant and went out for a spin in yesterday for the first time after its respray and it got up to 106°c. Have I got another problem somewhere?

Hi do you have the driver side dual window switch?
-
Do you have the black rubber grommets that go on the tabs on the front grill to stop it from shaking?

Changed my gear knob to the original, put up with some horrible red thing that I have swiftly disposed of for too long.

Took of the masking from my respray and put on all the parts I'd taken off during the respray i.e bumpers, lights, antenna, spoiler side indicators. Now just waiting for my sand blasting gun to arrive to strip the wheels and give them a respray too :)

Thanks, I'll get onto it

Looking to change my debadged front grille for a late style one with badge. Best place to get one from?

1. Fitted new alternator belt 2. Fitted new power steering belt whilst I was down that neck of the woods 3. Fitted a new water hose as the last one was the original and was in an awfully tatty state

Thought I'd join as I'm looking into doing some work on my 16v and hoping to learn a few things don't know much as this is my first car, also have a 1988 T25. Just bought a compressor and hope to be able to post a few pics of my Corrado after I've resprayed it.
