  1. Ah.....I didn't put an overhauled unit in...just another secondhand one. Did Vince overhaul yours? Thanks for all the ideas
  2. Thanks guys. Yep, I did do the pedal sensor as well.....
  3. Hi all Does anyone have a working one of these going spare please? It's the last part of my ABS system I haven't tested / replaced and I need to rule it out as being the duff part in the system. The ABS light comes on and off intermittently. I am wondering if this could just be down to the valves in the pump just being gummed up. Any ideas how I test / clean please? When the ABS is working I give it lots of "stamp on the brakes" abs testing to get the pump working, which it does all fine. It just reverts to the light coming on next time I leave the car parked up for a while, like over night. There also seems to be a correlation to a "pedal to the floor" loss in pressure and the light coming / being on. Next push of the brake pedal and its business as usual. This is happening less and less frequently. I have replaced the master cylinder so it's not that. The braking system has all been checked and had a full bleeding (by a pro, not just me) so it's not just air in the system. I wonder if there is air or something trapped in the ABS pump? It was refurbished and refitted a couple of years ago. Any ideas (I've read almost every thread on this subject!) much appreciated. Otherwise it's back to the pro for the car for another holiday to get this fixed once and for all.... David
  4. Thanks mate. I think it may be in the door bend as I have overcome it by opening and closing the door in the past..... I'll dig into the wiring....
  5. Mine has just started doing this too Any ideas anyone?
  6. I've just had adj Koni's with Eibach springs and anti roll bars and it's transformed the car. How it should have always looked and driven

  8. Hi guys, I'm after one of these for my 1992 K reg VR6. Does anyone have one please? Thanks. David
  9. I bought one a few months ago and it fitted fine.....with no more oil leaks (from the sump anyway!)
  10. I've got one that I took out of my car. The only thing is the connections on the seat ends are not blocks, but lots of individual connectors. I took them out as I didn't want heated seats. Can send you a photo of them if you like?
  11. Thanks Anna. Just been online to order one.....can you paste in a link pls as couldn't find it. Thanks
  12. I would buy one as well please.....thanks
  13. Hi guys Can anyone help out with this please? My ones are cracked and some of the tabs are missing. Cheers David
  14. I've had the exhaust banging on the rear beam, sound like suspension knocking. I'm due to get a new exhaust, so live with it for now.
  15. Hi guys, I ordered a set of these and fitted them with my original clips (cleaned, heat gunned and back to black stuff) and they look awesome. Great job Mr K. Thanks very much.
  16. The only thing I did come across when I put it all back together was the pipes to the abs unit (think ones) had been put on that wrong way. They were crossed over so the top one was fittest to the bottom of the reservoir and the bottom one to the top. Quite how this had been done I don't know! Doubt this was anything to do with it but thought I would mention it.
  17. Just to close this one off, I had the brake master cylinder referred by pastparts.co.uk. Great job and very good price. System then bled with a one man bleed kit and all fine now.
  18. Spotted my original Corrado VR6 that I sold back in 1999! Picture of it in this link - second car in the line M448H## - Dark blue. http://mmm-five.net/Gallery/CastleCombe/files/page22-1000-full.jpg The photo was at a VR6 track day at Castle Combe back in 1998! The car was parked today a couple of miles on the main road out of St Mawes, Cornwall. Now has a leather interior (black cloth in my day!) and ...... a tow bar! Anyone know who owns it now?
  19. I got a chap to make up the new stickers for under the bonnet. They are a cracking job. I think he is on the suppliers forum....
