I need help. Iv bought a remote central locking kit off ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1 Its a plug and play kit so only needed to connect at central locking pump. Im sure iv cobbected them properly but its not working i cant attach the instructions cause it said its to big but i can send it by pm ir would be a great help Thank you

Help... I was driving yesterday when suddenly the steering wheel height adjuster just gave in. Now my steering wheel freely moves up and down and wont lock in to place. (Which makes it pretty hard to drive) Iv done a search but couldn't find any info on it. Can anybody help? Thanks

i have this exact same problem at the mo. Battery goes from fully charged to dead in 1 day. Iv come to the conclusion that is is to do with my central locking. My passenger door dosnt open anymore(not to do with handle as thats quite new). When i connect the positive terminal to the battery,like you said there are a few sparks, and also a quiet clicking noice coming from passenger door. My cars booked in on wednesday at LUCAS so will hopefully know whats going on then. Do all your doors work proberly?

i have this exact problem at the mo. iv taken the brakes apart and given it a good clean but it still mkes the noise!

Every morning for the past week i go to start the car with my fingures crossed, but no there is never enough life in the battery to make it start. Does anybody know what could be killing my battery? Or could i need a new alternator? The battery is about 1 month old so should have plenty of life left in it. Its a 1990 valver if it makes a difference thanks in advance

i tried to do it before i got my respray and it started to peel the paint away. Had them taken off when the car went in for a full respray. In my opinion it looks sooooo much better with out them, just need to be careful where you park

Just turned my headlights on and noticed that only my side lights turn on. There is no difference between the first click and the second click. Does anybody know if this is just a broken switch? or possibly a problem with the wiring? Thanks

iv got this problem but with the early sliding type controls. I cant slide it all the way to the right hand side to the dash vents it gets stuck on the footwell vents. Is this to do with the cables aswell, sorry to hijack the thread

Hi all im after some silvertec chrome indicator bulbs to get rid of the orange tinge in my rear lights. Im gona buy them on ebay but my car is at the sprayers so cant check whether i need offset bulbs or normal. Its a 1990 16v (not sure if this makes a difference. Can anyone tell me? Thanks

mine was doing the same it was shorting out, cost 85 quid to fix and broke my door actuator in the process -- idiot!
