Would they work without the resistors or will they not be as bight? im crap with electrics :shrug:

Think how I feel, Laura! After years of driving a Corrado and almost NEVER seeing one, since getting my daily, I've seen loads! In fact I think you live in the next close along from my girlfriends house as I've seen the 200SX's and the nose of a Corrado poking out onto the road in that close... I've not had the Corrado out for a few days so unless you spotted me in the barge, it probably wasn't me :( Yes I think we do live near - I was driving the 200SX at the time i thought I saw you. So there was another J reg Red Corrado in kenilworth on Wed. Yep defo another red Rado around kenilworth, seen it a couple of weeks ago pulling out a drive right next to the a46 roundabout!

I took my car to a garage this morning to see if the starter had gone but apperently its fine. So i presume it must be the igition housing. I think im going to have to stump up and take it to VW. Iv pretty much given up now! :shrug: :help:

both VAG ones, took ur advice before about avoiding the GSF ones where is the starter motor soleniod?

Iv recently had some issues starting the 16V. When i turn the key all the dash lights come on (so battery fine) the fuel pump kicks in but nothing happens. I changed the ignition switch and all seemed fine. Then 2 months later the same thing has started to happen. I wasted 20 quid and bought another one thinking it might be a dodgy switch but it still wont turn over. What else could be causing this. Starter motor,plugs? Just to add the car will start if bump started. Thanks
