Hi all i need abit of advise of where i stand. I had my windscreen replaced by autogalss back in April. The day they fitted it, a crack appeared at the bottom. I rang them immediatly and they said that they will give me a call to arrange replacing the windscreen when they could get hold of a seal. After chasing them twice i got a call last week to book an appoitment. They finally came to fit it on monday when i was at work. When they finished fitting it they gave me a call and i went to collect my keys from them. The technician told me that whoever fitted the previous windsceren two moths ago, needed to go back to college as it was a bodged job and the glue hadn't even set! Which filled me with alot of confidence as i had been driving 1000's of miles since being fitted and anything could of happened. I then noticed a loads of scratch's on my drivers side wing. He tried to tell me that someone must of scratched it while walking by. I told him he was talking bo@#ocks as the scratchs went in all directions, which funnily enough would occur when leaning over the car to fit a windscreen! When autoglass carry out some work they fill in any marks that are on your car on a picture, they are then meant to get you to sign it. it states "Signature BEFORE provision of this service" They didnt ask me to sign it before, they expected me to sign it after even though there were scratch's. He said "it has to be signed". I noted on the diagram that the scratchs wernt on my car before the work was carried out then signed it. Anyway couple of question.... Where do i stand regarding the scratch's? Also how can i escalate the windscreen not being fitted correctly the first time as i sure thats unsafe!? Thanks in advance

Hi all, the engine temp needle in my 16v has just stopped working. its constantly sitting on 0 and dosn't move at all as the engine warms up. Iv checked all fluid levels and all seems fine. Any sugestions? thanks

Hi all iv just got my car back from an mot. I need new rear brake discs. quick question - is it worth getting drilled and grooved discs for the rear even if i have standard ones at the front? thanks

iv just bougt some from GPC £19 quid each and a fiver postage. Better than VW's £48 each

is that early or late indicators? I am after a pair of early ones. has anyone got a contact number for GPC

come on guys, i cant be the only one with manky indicators....

I have got a pair of new projector headlights for my car, my fog lights are also in good nick but my indicators are brown and full of $hit. I know they are sealed units but is there anyway at all to clean them up abit. i.e. cut open - clean - and seal. They let the front of my car down! Are they still available to buy new from somewhere? thanks

yep for windscreen and fitting. i think the only senssible choice is to upgrade my insurance so it covers windscreens

yep i was thinking that too. My insurance is due to get renewed this month anyway. Auto glass quoted me £628 before a 20% discount!!

no iv just checked it covers chips but not replacements. Has anybody had one changed before. I havnt got a clue how much it might cost

Can anybody reccomend a good windscreen replacement service. Some little dicks decided to run up my bonnet onto the windscreen and over the roof and now i have a 10 inch crack right in my vision. Im based in warwickshire Any idea of sort of costs? thanks

Hi All I won these wheels the other day on ebay but as you can see they could do with a good refurb. I was just wondering if anybody knows of a good wheel refurbisher in the midlands. Also what sort of finish's do you guys recomend for a dragon green corrado?. I was thinking going for a darker finish :?: Is there any chance somebody could do a photo chop onto a corrado? Thanks

Hi All Iv got a problem starting my car. Day to day use it is fine but when I go to start it after not using it for 3 days +, I turn the key and nothing… all my dash lights are on (batterys fine) After about 20 attempts of turning the key a horrible moaning sound occurs for a split second. The car will then start on the next attempt. Has it ever happened to anyone else? Sorry if all this sounds a bit weird. Thanks

I have got a nitro r/c car and have been thinking about getting a corrado shell for it. Iv seen a few on ebay but was wondering if you can buy them anywhere else. Has anybody got one? Pictures would be great. thanks

it is the central locking im having trouble with. as i dont have an alarm already i just wanted to use the remote central locking which the kit is meant to do

iv got an early switch if you want it. i think its got the usual rattle but works fine

Iv scaned a pic of wiring diagram What im confused about is wire 7 and wire 9! are they meant to be connected somewhere? as they loose. One is black/red and the other one is pink.All the other wires apart from wire 11,12 (indicators) are part of a loom. please somebody help im completly stuck Thanks
